A pleasant place to walk, have a snack/drink, listen to live music and generally soak up the local atmosphere. Reported to be risky at night, but we have never experienced any issues before Midnight - after that everywhere quietens down.

This is not really a park, there's some trees and a few benches and that's it. There's a bunch of seniors playing domino. Santa Catalina is only worth going if you need to catch a bus. I couldn't take many pictures of people hanging there obviously, but I have uploaded a few (all faces blurred) where you can see, in... More

A very moving area because of a big buss station and shopping mall... the narrow part linking th 2 parts of the city. When we passed by to the coffee places on the other side of the park I saw everybody playing domino, chess and other local card games. Adding to that the more latin spanish accent the canary island... More

There is a lot of work going on in the Parque (which is more an open Place). In January it can be quite windy and we did not find any nice places to eat or have a drink.

For the moment there are lots of construction works going on in the park and the neighbarhood around. The number of seats at the outdoor bars are strongly reduced and it is far from clean. Hopefully it cannot be this bad till the aquarium is ready in some years.
