Many restaurants, nice environment. Many people strolling around. Bars and restaurants. Often varied performances.

We lived nearby. We found this park a great place to relax. There are excellent eating establishments here where one can have a budget priced meal and drink whilst enjoying the parade of people walking by. Jacky's offers the best Chinese menu at budget prices. The locals are colorful too. Access local transportation by road and sea are within a... More

This park is adjacent to the bus stop so there is constant activity. There are shops running the length of the green belt. Plenty of food and drink to be found. But the best part is watching the locals that come out daily to play dominoes or cards, hang with the other guys and smoke a cigar and maybe a... More

Just about everything you need is either here or very close. Other reviewers have listed many of them. It was interesting to see the regular gathering of elderly locals at one end in the shade, playing all sorts of games. There was a pair playing accordion and sax each day of our visit. Really nice atmosphere and a good meeting... More

OK but not a place to head for as a special attraction. Nice enough but....better to go to the old football stadium and see what a little imagination can make.

You can have a drink there and plan your next guagua bustrip around Las Palmas. Tickets you get from ticket booth in the park. Also red hop on hop off buses start from there. And tourist office is there, like Museum Elder too. Not far from Playa Canteras either

The Santa Catalina Park is near the Santa Catalina bus station (really:D), very close to the port. The area is quite big. There are many restaurants and some things to do. The Technology and Science Museum is also there (Museo Elder). Nice place to have a rest and meal, as most of the parks :)

This park is between and buzzing and quiet. It has numerous cafes of different types and quality. Good for relaxing, a quick meal, or a long coffee.

This area is beautiful with a great big open space, plenty of park area for the children to play and usually some sort of activity or event going on. When we visited there was a climate change exhibition going on with lots of educational stalls, live music with an amazing youth group of singers and lots of economic friendly vegan... More

This is not a park, its a location that does have some activity as its also the place where many buses stop. There are two halls that in November 15 housed a craft and food market. Across the road are most of the pavement cafes but beware, all but one are "café" standard.
