The Royal Las Palmas Golf Club was founded in the early 1890s and was the first in Spain. It has a charming club house and hotel accomodation and its location on the edge of the Bandama crater is spectacular. Fees tend to keep the club exclusive.
We stayed in the adjacent hotel and played three rounds. The views from the club house and around the course are lovely.
The course is well maintained and quite challenging with some long carries off the yellow tees, some quite tight fairways from the tees and plenty of well placed bunkers. We found the greens very fast and they took...
