Well, we probably made a mistake as the lady in the tourist office marked it on our map as something to see. So we walked. We could have taken a bus or taxi but I like to see a city on foot. Can't say it was worth the shoe leather. It's a urban park, a nice one granted, but it's... More

This is a free entrance park i visit at least once on every trip to Las Palmas. It is beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy the day in park bench or have a cool drink in terrace cafe. You must visit it also in the evening when the sun has gone down. The multiple fountains if they are on are... More

If you have time, go on a Sunday morning. They say there are dancers but we didn't see any (11:45-1pm). We saw tons of beautiful children in their 1st Communion outfits and photographers enjoying the moments. Great fountains, one cafe, koi fish and a swimming pool adjacent. Good to spend about an hour or so relaxing and taking in some... More

This park was behind the hotel we were staying in and offers lots of pretty flowers, water fountains and a koi pond as well as benches and a cafe at the back. It is extremely well kept by the local authority, with the koi pond regularly cleaned and flowerbeds kept maintained. It also has a childrens play park which seems... More

If you are in the area, worth a visit - we stayed in the Santa Catalina Hotel which is in the park - lots of waterfalls, fountains and well tended areas

I lived in Spain for about 4 years, just a few blocks from this park. I would walk to it every afternoon with my daughter. The entire park is beautifully landscaped with lush trees and flowers. There are several different fountains through out and charming pathways to discover all the little hidden nooks and crannies of this park. There seems... More

A small park in the city, nicely landscaped and surprisingly quiet on a fine Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth chilling out for a half-hour or so if you happen to be in the area.

My cruise ship pulled into Las Palmas on a Sunday which meant that everything was closed. No problem - you could easily spend a Sunday here at the park watching the local families and enjoying the beauty. This is simply a great place to relax and soak in the culture. This is not a touristy place at all which is... More
