Visited here many years ago, there is something special about these gardens. Somewhere to sit quietly and do some peaceful thinking. Beautiful wildlife as in the birds and butterflies that live in the park. Visited here three times in the last two weeks and hpoe to again before the end of this holiday ( February 2016). Has a superb play... More

Parque Doramas is located in the centre of the city. The park surrounds 5 star Hotel Santa Catalina. During working week it's a perfect escape from a rush and heat. It's a botanic garden with fountains, small pond and birds singing all day. My favourite place in the city.

This beautiful park is clearly one of the best - and it's free :) Nice and interesting plants and flowers, fountains, waterfall, lots of benches, swan and fish you can feed, friendly big butterflies. There is also a small restaurant. Very romantic place and perfect for families too! We liked it so much that went back the same day in... More

In between the roads leading to and from the new part of Las Palmas city, is this park. It is not very big, but lovely to sit in because it's quiet and nice and green. Most people just pass by, and it's mainly just the nearby residents who use it. That's what makes it so charming!

This is the best park I've found so far in Las Palmas. I love that it is on different levels (major roads cut through it, it is a nice 'green lung' near the centre of the city); that it is so well maintained and such a nice place to sit and just be. Coming from England but living in Las... More

It is perfect. No discussion. I have a maniac toddler I can let free there and only navigate between feeding a swan / massive Chinese carps, two very well designed safe playgrounds (both appropriate for small children), running to the various water features, climbing stairs, chasing cats, birds spotting, trying to get a butterfly sit on lollipop. And it is... More

The park is small. If you happen to be passing, a quick wander through the gardens might interest you. A good playground for young children. Small cafe on site. The park is an Oasis in the center of the city. The facade of the Santa Catalina is more interesting. Peter M.

Beautiful little park, lots of water features and spaces to relax. The little cafe at the top of the park is very nice, offering refreshments with a view across the park. On Sundays between 10:30am and 1pm In the other cafe area at the bottom of the park are Spanish dancers, a really family orientated event. It is so lovely... More
