Modern theatre

It is a pretty big theatre. We had a balett performance Victor Ullate ensemlbe from Madrid. The spanish modern ballet is excellent and this ensemble was a good representativ of it.

Marvellous theatre for opera. Every seat with an excellent view and the acoustics were good. The disadvantage for such an expensive undertaking is that it is not very big, so that each season probably made a loss.

This theatre hides behind a very shop frontage and is reached through a short tunnel. Originally a cinema it has been transformed into a theatre with a very eclectic programme from children's theatre to Canary Islands' musicals and on to Ibsen and Shakespeare.
