We came from Playa del Ingles for sightseeing of Las Palmas. The trip is good if you do not have time to plan your visit and you just want to see some random places in Las Palmas. The ticket cost around 25 euro for a day trip from Playa del Ingles. It includes a tour with a guide around the... More

We got our own way to Las Palmas. Great day out. We got the number 30 bus from Playa Del Ingles cost 5.60 euro each way(a lot cheaper than the tour prices). When we arrived in the city there was a tourist information office just outside the bus terminal who provide a map of the area and showed us what... More

A great way to quickly explore and get your bearings on Las Palmas. We were staying close to tour stop 1, so it was simple for us to get on board and tour. We stayed on the tour for one complete trip, then on the second time around, we got off at stop 5, to explore Las Palmas town itself.... More

Do not go to Las Palmas on a Monday as the the sight seeing venues are CLOSED and you are not told this when you purchase your tickets for the Hop On Hop Off Bus which include some entrance fees. We were charged 60 euros for 4 people only to find everywhere was shut. In particular we had hoped to... More

Dear Sherrel, Thank you for sharing your opinion and tips with the Tripadvisor community. We are glad you enjoyed the tour as a great way to see both the old and new part of town. Since museums, monuments and other attractions open during the weekend in Spain, most close on Mondays. This is a widely known fact among locals, yet... More

We took ourselves off to Las Palmas on the local bus. It was only 5 euros. Tourist information really helpful. We had a tour of their beautiful theatre and we visited the cathedral and museum of Gran Canaria.

These trips are a great way to explore the city, with both the Old City and the New City. We found it the best way to see most of the sites! I think the tour was great value for money, and reasonable in price. We spent most of the day on the bus, hoping on and off. Armed with a... More

We must have waited 50 mins for a bus on a busy petrol- fumed corner. We were staying in Triana -the old pedestrianized quarter and soon realized that the modern parts of Las Palmas are really not worth seeing -ugly high rise flats etc. We got off for coffee at Playa Canteras and were not impressed, so waited on another... Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately our buses can’t access the older quarters of the city but our ticket also includes a walking tour through the historic quarter, Vegueta, from Monday to Saturday at 13:15 from Stop number 5 (Vagueta/Cathedral). It is about an hour long and is available in both English and Spanish. More
