After being up in the cool, misty mountains of La Gomera, spending a couple of hours in the much warmer town of San Sebastian was lovely. It's not much more than a sleepy village, but there are lots of eateries, lots of sweet parks and buildings and an interesting port/harbour to while away the time.

i'd say it is the best beach on the island. The weather was bad (lots of wind, rain, cloud etc) so there weren't that many people on the beach. The side walk along the beach front is nice and you can sit on a bench in the sun when there is any. Heaps of people do their health walks here every day... More

We got off local bus too soon and walked down hill thinking it would give us some exercise. We reached a point where we were not sure which direction we should take follow a steep downward path of pavement following the road. Fortunately spoke to a charming couple who provided us directions and useful return bus location info. We enjoyed... More

A village about an hour's bus drive from San Sebastian. Bars and restuarants. Golf course and swanky hotel nearby. But skip that and go directly to the caves by the beach - where the hippies come...!

Lovely sea side town and busy port. Several little boutiques and one of the more attractive beaches to relax and watch life go on around you.

Quite a few historic and interesting buildings to search out. Not much to watch at the prt of course. Not a great number of shops and certainly no big stores. Loads of good cafes and an excellent prom along the waters edge.

This is more a small village than town. The best food outlet is Spar, there is a good hairdresser, plenty of coffee shops, a tourist office and (limited) bus services to San Sebastian. The hills around offer good walking and views, but you need stamina to climb the pathways to the top. Car hire is available.

This is a nice little bay with one or two restaurants and a handful of touristy shops and a small beach and harbour
