Ciutadella over all is the nice and beautiful small town, ask people or tourist infos whe they are has siesta, then most of the places are closed. If you go to church, respect local habits and how you should behave inside. Do not just flash the photos and so on, sit down and look the beautiful Place. During some seremonies... More

The cathedral has had a lot work done over the last few years and is well worth a visit. Used to be free to enter but a charge now sign of the times. Right in the centre of town just afew minutes walk from the bus stops

Visited in the evening during organ practice, it was a nice escape from the bustling streets and a wonderful building. There is a 5 euro charge to enter in the day but you are allowed to 'go behind the scenes.'

I confess I was less interested in the Cathedral and more interested in the old streets and architecture around it. I really enjoyed being in the old part of town and at times it was like being in Kotor in Montenegro. Well worth the bus journey for a day visit and I would certainly return if visiting Menorca. Not as... More

We visited here first on a day trip and enjoyed an uncrowded visit around this lovely cathedral, which is open to visitors 10 to 3.50. It is located in the heart of the city and is easy to find. The main church is beautifully lit from the windows and there is lots of interesting ante rooms and displays to keep... More

As might be expected of a relatively small island, the cathedral is relatively austere. However it has a beautiful integrity to it, with its high vaulted roof and great stained glass windows, that is most appealing. Bear in mind that in the summer months it is open until 4pm, with last visitors allowed in at 3.50pm.

Stained glass windows were lovely. Entrance fee of 5 Euro which also included admission to the convent further up the street was probably about right.
