go on Saturday for a look at the market and some bands etc. the town is very hilly so it will be tiring . definitely take an hour boat trip at 12 euros . then get a bus back when you've finished.

As a regular visitor to Menorca, I always make time to come here. This time we went on the yellow catamaran tour of the harbour and saw lots of fish in the clear blue water. This harbour has a rich history through Moorish times to the British and last year we saw the Red Arrows do one of their fantastic... More

Loved the place, lovely architecture. However I was sulking because I'd missed the horses in the local festival, so I didn't make the most of the place. There are lots of shops and a market as well as the historic buildings. Definitely worth a visit or two

Pearl harbour is deeper than Mahon harbour. It is steeped with history and has a connection with the UK through The Battle of Trafalgar. The steps are quite steep if you have walking difficulties but you can get a hopper bus to and from the harbour.

Mahon is defiantly worth a vistit. There are some lovely restaurants and lots of little shops in Mahon. It may not be a very big city but it has some wonderful sights to see. The port is very clean, and a lovely walk to or from the city centre.

my fourth visit in 4 years to this amazing festival involving horse parades, giants, live bands, street dancing, harbour swim and fireworks throughout which the town goes crazy on local brewed gin with lemon called Pomada. 3 of these and take water otherwise you will remember nothing as before unforgettable and not for the faint hearted

The capital of Menorca and a city worth exploring. There are 2 sides to the city: 1. The shops and market - Use Plaça de s'Esplanada as your base with an underground car park in the centre of the city it is very convenient and keeps the car out of the sun. The market above runs on a Tuesday and... More
