We went on a glass bottom boat tour of Mahon harbour, it was brilliant, very informative in four languages, it had a loo on board, a bar that sold drinks, snacks and ice cream, it was really interesting. We were a family of four, two teenage daughters and my husband and I. We all found it good value and a... More

Mahon is faboulous, lots of quaint little shops, glass bottom boats, to visit Bloody Island (kings Island) is a must but this trip is only at 10.30 on sunday and Thursday mornings and they collect you at 1 pm

We caught the local bus from son bou to Mahon bus really cheap €10.20 for four of us! Quick journey and bus air conditioned. The bus station is really close to the main square so you can't get lost. The market was on the day we went lots of bags and jewellery. The harbour is a lovely place lots of... More

During the early part of the 2015 summer, my Wife and I visited the island of Minorca for the very first time. We had visited Majorca, Ibiza & Formentera on many occasions but for some reason had never been to Minorca....Suffice to say that we enjoyed this long overdue visit so much that we are returning for a second 2015... Went on a rainy day and still looked lovely so imagine it's beautiful on a warm, sunny day. Highly recommended the Don joan boat cruise. It's advertised as a glass bottom boat but is more like a boat with glass panels on the side. The guided tour tannoy is great and very informative. Good value.

Arrived into Mahon airport early, so had a few hours to kill before we could access our villa. Parked easily and for free at the inland end of the port, and then strolled along the front taking in the sights. Watching the yachts come and go was great, some of them huge. Didn't bother with the boat cruise as you... More

Great shopping experience. Visited glass bottom boat. Didn't see much fish but killed an hour. Visited the rainbow curry house on the harbour. Fantastic food. Kids had an enjoyable day.
