A lovely place to visit. The harbour has lots of small restaurants and specialised shops to look round. A gin distillery is also along the harbour front- understand they do tours but have never been. They do however sell Lots of gin - ideal for gifts. Walk up 168 steps and tourism enter the shopping area. Lots of shops, restaurants... More

Mahon harbour is a lovely place to stroll! There are lots of restaurants / cafes/ bars to choose to sit and watch the beautiful yachts which moor here. You may even catch a glimpse of someone famous!

We did a tour with the glass bottom boat [the biggest one] around the bay of Mahon, it takes about an hour. There are 4 very small islands in the bay with some history. It's a very beautiful bay and you can enyoy the beatiful villas and boats. What I didn't like was to go down to watch the fishes, the... More

Marvellous place. Untouchable nature and sea in comparison to Ibiza and Majorca. For those who are looking for quiet holiday in the nature Minorca is the right place. We drove right to the beach, early in the morning. The water is crystal clear, and there was no one around in the beach, but mountains. So the best place for couples... More

Having visited Mahon on a day trip years ago, we decided to stay in the town this time, and it proved to be a great base for a holiday on the small island. The harbour frontage is now a very trendy place, with lots to do and see. the town centre is close, as is the airport, and a few... More
