Went down to the port in the evening and very nice indeed. Lots of beautiful boats in and good restaurants to choose from. The port is near the town to walking into and very peaceful with lots of little shops to look in. Very nice indeed easy to park the car few euros for most of the day would recommend... More

Trip takes about an hour and boats leave the harbour-side every half an hour. We visited on a market day so the town was busy and we also went on the land train as this was a good way to get around.

Glass-bottomed boat, tour of the harbour area and to see fish and coral. Two tour operators available. Around 60 Euros for family of 4.

Went on a trip when hired a car, so drove all the way around the port. Huge area, nice to see Tourist Cruise boat in. Bonus to park up and walk about the town also, great views from the top looking down.

Gorgeous wee streets , loads of shops and lovely harbour, spent a few hours here, a bit of shopping and lovely lunch in a small cafe in one of the side streets.

The boat had english commentary and explained the sites and history of the harbour. It takes a bout an hour and also includes a time when they stop the boat and you can view the fish from the glass bottomed chamber in the bottom of the boat.

I visited minorca a few years back and immediately fell in love. It was a cute little romantic city. We hired a moped and toured the city. Best way to travel. We did travel via their local bus service at first, but I preferred the moped as that meant we could go out at night without having to pay hefty... More

Mahon Port was a lovely port to spend a day visiting. The harbor gave a welcome reception for tourist by its stairway up to the upper level of the town. The different levels created a most interesting site of the small town with its shopping streets, churches, market and to the plaza at the edge of town. There were several... More
