Access fro the town down many (very many) steps. Consider a taxi to go back to the town or boat taxi to another location. Once there, lots of places to eat or have a drink. We took boat tour which we would highly recommend as there is a lot of history and interesting facts and places to take in

Worlds second largest natural harbour is beautiful even on the second visit. A visit to the gin distillery on the docks is a must.

Easy to get to on the bus, and has a nice friendly vibe. It's not manically busy and you feel safe off the beaten track. There is a lot of shopping there, regular boat trips around the harbour, and the Menorca Museum which is free and well worth a visit. Not only is it in a beautiful old building which... More

Love Mahon we have been going to Mahon for the last 6 years, we stay in Cala Torret, but go into Mahon often lovely bars and restaurants, and open all year round, winter is lovely and not so many tourists, always plenty to do, the boat trips are lovely and plenty to see, going back November.

go on Saturday for a look at the market and some bands etc. the town is very hilly so it will be tiring . definitely take an hour boat trip at 12 euros . then get a bus back when you've finished.

As a regular visitor to Menorca, I always make time to come here. This time we went on the yellow catamaran tour of the harbour and saw lots of fish in the clear blue water. This harbour has a rich history through Moorish times to the British and last year we saw the Red Arrows do one of their fantastic... More
