Visited the s'Albufera des Grau nature reserve in May 2013 and we certainly weren't disappointed. We'd visited the place before, and this time it was no different. I'm writing a review on the actual reserve, not the village of Es Grau. Upon arrival, there is a visitor's centre with a very helpful receptionist who speaks excellent English and provides detailed... More

This is a lovely little village with a wide sandy bay. The water is very shallow which is great for kids and pedaloes are available for hire to be able to look back at the beautiful coastline from the water. The S'Albufera nature reserve with its lagoon is also worth a visit to try and spot some of the many... More

In our view this was the best beach we visited. The sea was warm and you could watch the fish swim by. Also was not too crowded in September.

Es Grau is a village near a nature reserve. There is a freshwater lagoon with paths and hides around it. There is an information centre in the middle. Of the more unusual birds (for a British birder) we saw purple gallinule and Sardinian warbler. There were little egrets by the dozen and osprey. The lagoon is chock full of fish... More

Es Grau is very quiet, there are a couple of shops there and a beautiful beach. It is worth taking pedalo out and view the village from the sea, it is breathtaking.

The locals go here so it must be good:) Nice beach and fairly quiet locations I on. You probably need a hire car to get here and be aware that car parking is limited

At first glance this village and beach looked quite uninteresting but a trip out on a pedalo showed us how lovely the area was. The views of the village from the sea wer stunning. The sea was so clean and a lovely sandy beach for the children.

This was a very pretty place, with water sports such as wind surfing and kayaks. Beautiful scenery with a rugged coastal path. Very close by is the nature reserve.
