My wife and I went on this while we were in Palma, the tour lasted about an hour, and whilst there was a lot to see, it felt like you didn't see a lot.. The bus rushed through the streets so unless you want to "hop on, hop off" you do miss a lot. We also found that a lot... More

Travelling round city on hop on hop off bus on Thursday 4th September. Great way to see the city of Palma on a very hot day. Commentary was good, we hopped off a couple times to see places and take photo's. Did the circuit twice which takes over an hour. Very busy when we started with buses running every ten... More

You wouldn't believe that the city of Palma is part of the same country as Santa Ponca or Magaluf. It is beautiful, fresh easy to get around and a very Spanish feel to it unlike the other two places in Mallorca mentioned. Would definitely revisit it for a weekend getaway.

If in Majorca a visit to Palma is well worth it. Lovely city, great architecture, wonderful cathedral most beautifully located, excellent shopping. Simply lovely to walk around and take in the atmosphere.

Stayed in a villa outside the old town of Pollensa...not the Port ,which we find a bit "naff" The old town is mostly pedestrianised, has plenty of lovely shops and restaurants and a fitness test of 365 steps to climb if you feel up to it....for a magnificent view of the local area. All parking is free and the locals are... More

If you are on a budget or travelling alone, to get to the city from the airport you can use the local #1 bus that goes from the airport to the port - it costs 3 euros. per person: A taxi would cost 25 euros or so. The bus arrives just behind the hotel buses and taxi stand. If you... More

Useful way to see the city - watch your return time - we were lucky to get on bus to return to port, but the people at the next stop had been waiting 50 minutes to get on a bus. They are crowded when people are trying to return to their boat for a certain time. Some of the plug... More
