This trip consisted of high speed dashes between stops and then long periods spent stationary at stops (presumably to let the timetable catch up). The audio was poor and we spent a lot of time 'jiggling' the connection to try and maintain sound. The infromation was limited and often out of sync with the point we were at. Have tried...

Majorca is both all the bad image of a drunkard binge weekend assembly place and the peace and calm one can wish for. If you are prepared for the former just stay in Magaloof (for the Brits) and Arenal for the Germans. The only difference between th two is probably that there is less fights in Arenal after 11 pm...

the ticket for the 24hrs hop-on-hop-of bus is worth while. You get to see the highlights of Palma in a comfortable and informative way. Langugages over the tape: Spanish, Enlish, German, French and Russian. The only place you have to visit on foot is the old town.

We took the City Sightseeing bus (15 euros), similar to the UK they are red doubledeckers which zoom around the city. Great service, lots of stops, just nothing to see. Granted we went in December but there doesn't seem to be much to see, the harbour is great for a stroll but once you've seen one yacht you've seen them...

This was the last stop on a 7 day Norweigan Cruise Lines trip. It seemed to be anti-climatic after the stops in Italy, but reality was totally different than preconceptions. It's am island that has been the scene of many battles from many different countries and religeous groups. It's a very clean island and the weather is very nice year...
