Do not go thinking you'll spend the day at an unspoiled beach. Canyon de la Calobra is a tourist trap with a couple of very pokey, pebbled beaches. It was such a disappointment after the long and rather scary drive through the Serra de Tramuntana. That said, the best bit was driving through the mountains as the scenery and views... More

A great car journey - beautiful scenery - very narrow - one of the interesting parts of the mountain scenery

Great place to visit. The driving itself is not easy due to narrow mountain road but the view which you see arrived is worth of it. As the trip takes time would suggest going there in the morning and spending some time on the beach. All cafes are closed in the afternoon. Need to pay for the parking. We had... More

This was a true highlight of our vacation and a must do. It's also a hike that is great in the summer as there is plenty of shadow in the deep gorge. Most people seem to see only part of the gorge as they go in from the beach, go up for a while and then turn back. To do... More

no much to do when you get there bus after bus load of tourists don't do it as it its a long drive that can be scary for the passenger as they titter over a steep canyon

On Mallorca’s northwest coast, the Torrent de Pareis River wriggles its way through the Tramuntana Mountain Range, leaving massive limestone-carved canyons in its path. At the river’s end, it breaks through a rugged coastline that is home to the neighboring village of Sa Calobra, as well as a slew of small beaches.

We went via the soller rail via boat. A nice relaxing journey. We arrived late morning. Perfect weather. Not too crowded but a Wednesday in mid June. We walked to the canyon ... Which spectacular views! The beach was small somewhat crowed but the water lovely! Walked abit thru the canyons wish I had more time to explore. But don't... More

We were staying in Palma with a rental car. I'm not one for boats so we drove to Sollar to go to the Cala de la Calobra. The last 7 miles were nail biting but the reward was worth it. Beautiful! Lovely promenade to walk on through a few "caves". Easy and beautiful. A few restaurants and facilities to browse... More

We spent a day on a guided tour booked with Tramuntana Tours in Port Soller, firstly canyoning down Sa Fosca (Torrent de Gorg Blau) and then bouldering/walking down Torrent de Pareis. Definitely NOT recommended on a Sunday in summer as it is very crowded, according to our guide. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and although the canyoning experience will not be... More

Got the 1912 train to Soller, the wood tram to the port and the boat to La Calobra. Very pretty place, nice walks through the mountains. The way back is stunning!
