Passeig Des Born is a great place to just stroll down or take a seat and watch the world go by. There is a great choice of restaurants if you want something to eat and on our visit there were street entertainers as well.

A beautiful tree-lined avenue, like a miniature version of the Ramblas in Barcelona, pedestrianised in the centre, lined with attractive nineteenth century buildings, now with smart shops, and leading from the city centre to the Almudaina, the Cathedral and the harbour.

This was a wonderful street with lots of outdoor seating. However be aware that most places don't serve food between 3pm and 7pm. We ate at an outdoor seating place that was literally clearing the tables around us as we were finishing our meal! That was a bit frustrating..

This became a daily walk back to the hotel and I found it a great place to reflect the day. Cafe's for coffee and marble seats line the middle. A big, grand walk way that is a good place to relax. A quiet space in the city.

Many time during summer time I wished to be there in Christmas, finally this year I was no defrauded, all the lights in the Avenue, at the end stars lights, the Cathedral coming up from behind, full moon, just amazing!

This lovely tree lined avenue is great for people watching. It's a nice and pleasant place to go for a walk, and there are plenty of benches to sit down and watch life go by.

A wonderful street for walking, people watching and shopping - mostly designer prices! Or take a seat in one of the bars / cafes and enjoy the bustle during the day. In the evening, despite traffic, its a joy to amble the tree lined avenue.

A shopping mecca with international designer brands to keep the fashionistas happy. Also a great place to stroll and stop for food or a quick coffee as the wide central pedestrian walkway offers a lot of options. Also nice for an evening stroll and close to the marina and old town.

This is a wonderful, well walked by us avenue. It is lined both sides by trees and at night the lights sway and the view of the cathedral looks like the backdrop to a movie. Big designer stores have made this their home and you can see why.

If you are looking for expensive designer shops, they are on this street and the neighboring Avda Jaime III. There is an H&M and a C&A, but most of the rest are high end. If you are looking for clothes, shoes, and hand bags, then Palma is your city. No matter where you are in the city, every other store... More
