You love shopping and sales? The best time to travel to Mallorca is the beginning of July when all the stores do their summer sale. I especially recommend the spanish brands as they are much cheaper than in many other countries as for example the UK.

What a beautiful place, shaded by mature trees, surrounded by beautiful buildings, a wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by.

Holiday is very often about walking and Passeig des Born is a place to go for sure when visiting Palma. Located very conveniently right behind La Seu gives you a great flavour of what life in Palma is like. Shops and cafes are situated on both sides of the street. Prices are quite high, I wouldn't recommend eating dinner here... More

Situated on the Passeig des Born, this outdoor cafe is a perfect place for morning coffee, cake and early evening tapas while watching the world pass by on this charming tree lined boulevard . Staff attentive and friendly. The indoor part of the cafe looked fresh, modern and clean. Appeared to be a popular meeting place for locals, always reassuring!

Lovely place with shops and restaurants. We rented an apartment just minutes away. Cross the road you will get to quirky streets with all restaurants that open in the evening.

We stumbled on Passeig des Born by mistake and completely fell in love with the place. Its a miniature Las Ramblas (Barcelona) but cleanier and less crowded. I loved sitting under trees people watching and admiring the old world architecture of the buildings that line the streets . All you need is good company and coffee!

A lovely street with a massive tree-lined promenade down the middle, the perfect place to shop. Two huge Zaras, a Massimo Dutti that looks like a chateau inside and plenty more. Plus there are a couple of places to stop for refreshment. It's also very close to the winding streets of the Old Town.

walking down the tree lined passeig, stopping for a coffee, listening to the locals and just watching the world go by, is one of the more pleasant pastimes to be had in this wonderful city.
