Lovely to stroll on.

Palms's answer to Barcelona's La Rambla. One of Palma's major arteries and a very classic strolling boulevard with a "happening" atmosphere surrounded by lovely buildings.

This is the happening place in Palma. There are high end stores here, great for people watching or just sitting outside. At the western edge of old town, you can park in the main garage under the park and walk over. Not a super long street, maybe a couple hundred yards?

A well laid out shopping street with some high end shops. Lots of places to sit and people watch. Lovely fountains at either end.

Lots of eating places and posh shops in this pedestrianised avenue leading down to the sea. Broad and open compared with the nearby, narrow old town streets.

We sat there a few times with our ice creams and enjoyed watching the world go by.The best shops of Palma are all on this road.

Great place to take in the scenery, the tree lined roads, the shops and especially the taps bars alongside the roadside. Good for people watching & the atmosphere. More so if your into the top-notch shops lining the street. Lovely experience just to wall it, better still take a beer/wine & watch the world go by.

Always like going on the Born, some great shops, banks galore to exchange cash and just love having lunch and coffee or wine people watching from the pedestranised central pavement, currently Born 8 is our preferred place.

Since I live in Palma I am very often there. You could compare it with Newbery Street in Boston or a smaller version of the Champs Elysses

A wonderful stay at Christmas time!! The lights are so beautiful, not a tacky Santa in sight !! Some glorious shops and boutiques to shop or just window shop. Plenty of places to stop and have a coffee and a rest. An absolute must if in Palma during Christmas.

Stayed a week in Palma over Christmas and walked the Passeig des Born every day; particularly spectacular at night with the most wonderful lights in the canopy of trees. Information Bureau helpful and well stocked here.
