Loads of interesting shops in the area ranging from very expensive and upmarket clothes and furniture shops to small and quirky shops selling all sorts of unusual items. Loads of places to stp and sit down for a coffee or ice-cream as well as restaurants and Tapas bars.

A really pleasant way to explore the area around the cathedral and the Hotel Born where we were staying. A tree lined boulevard great for people watching and a few drinks before dinner.

Not Barcelona but nice to wander hop and down but only about 500 meters in total with lots of expensive shops but nice places to grab a coffee and a break from the mid day sun

having come down the steps fron the cathedral this beautiful shaded tree lined avenue is a delight to stroll up and down and to get protection from the sunshine. When you reach the top of the passeig there are many cafes to sit down at and enjoy a meal or drinks.

This is a pleasant enough boulevard, but it is quite short. There are some attractive buildings, which can be enjoyed from the central walkway.

Palms's answer to Barcelona's La Rambla. One of Palma's major arteries and a very classic strolling boulevard with a "happening" atmosphere surrounded by lovely buildings.

This is the happening place in Palma. There are high end stores here, great for people watching or just sitting outside. At the western edge of old town, you can park in the main garage under the park and walk over. Not a super long street, maybe a couple hundred yards?

A well laid out shopping street with some high end shops. Lots of places to sit and people watch. Lovely fountains at either end.

Lots of eating places and posh shops in this pedestrianised avenue leading down to the sea. Broad and open compared with the nearby, narrow old town streets.

We sat there a few times with our ice creams and enjoyed watching the world go by.The best shops of Palma are all on this road.
