A wonderful view the hole way up to the summit and well worth the effort. The road can be somewhat scary when you meet busses and a LOT of bicycle riders, but take your time and enjoy. The road is upgraded during the winter 2014/2015, but it`s still a bit frightening even for a Norwegian ;) It is possible to... More

It was a little like driving along the Amalfi coast without the buses. On arrival there is a choice of 2 beaches either side of the small pier. It was a little windy that put a chill on the air, the water was crystal clear and temperature OK. The scenery was great from the beach and brilliant from the top... More

We did this as part of an organised excursion. Utmost admiration for our coach driver! We live in rural Devon and have our fair share of narrow roads but how he got that coach up there was little short of amazing. I wouldn't want to be in car meeting him on the way! Having said that the view is simply... More

Quite a hair raising car ride to reach the summit but worth it as the views are really spectacular. This is one of Majorca's natural attractions. I should also point out that there is a nice cafe at the top & toilet facilities. A must for photographers!

We did this trip in September 2014, I had hired a Car for the holiday just to tootle around. We decided to see the "Attraction". The countryside is great big open spaces, easy to get there until you attempted the ascent.... I've been driving for 57 years and never have I been so frustrated/stressed/scared in all my driving years. It... More

Certainly worth a visit, but the roads are very narrow and windy. We hired scooters for the day so it was quite easy to wind in and out.The views from the lighthouse are amazing

I went with my wife there as the weather in Platja de Muro was cloudy and kept us away from the beach. Best ideea ever! The views are incredible with steep mountains dropping into the deep blue Mediteranean sea. If the weather is clear you can see the Port of Alcudia and Port of Pollenca very well. Thee is also... The Formentor peninsula is the dramatic end of the Serra de Tramuntana. The limestone cliffs are vertical with jagged and rocky summits. The roads are very narrow once you get beyond Formentor beach and are crowded with cyclists, cars and coaches. The hairpin bends are extreme and the parapets on the downhill sides and not particularly reassuring. I recommend you... More

Our group of 8 cycled out to the cap on our first day of riding. It was very windy at times, making it a bit more of a challenge. We had baguettes from the cafe before cycling back to Pellenca. If you are driving, parking can be a real issue, particularly around the middle of the day. Take a Euro... More
