YES a bit touristic (but after all... mallorca IS touristic), however everyone VERY friendly, good food and easy-going. stunning landscape. If you go by car - be aware of the cyclists! This is the most spectacular part of the island and makes for a great drive, in either direction. The views are fantastic and there are some delightful villages en route such as Banyulbufar, Estellencs and Deia.

The stunning scenery took my breath away, Many towering peaks and sheltered bays. Caters for tourists very efficiently. People very friendly. Do not miss a chance to explore this area.

Majorca is more than sea and sand. Fabulous mountain roads, pretty villages, stunning views and breathtaking scenery. I could have toured all my holiday. Will most likely return next year and stay in this area for the duration.

We drove to the northwest coast using a rental car and also went to Soller and Port de Soller by Train and then returned to Palma by bus. The two approaches gave somewhat different views of the coast but overall it was quite beautiful! Ordinarily we prefer the flexibility of a car to come and go and stop for pictures... More

Wonderful mountains and spectacular scenery. It's worth going to Soller and do have a ride on the trams and electric train through the lemon and orange groves. Magic !!

We enjoyed the swim in the sea off the boat, pity it was only 10 mins! Great views of rock formations and the high cliffs.

We visited Sollier and Port de Sollier on the north-west coast - travelled on the old wooden train and then tram down to the coast - a wonderful experience, and it was almost possible to reach out and pick the ripe lemons from the train window.
