This beach is very unique, and actually reminded me a bit of Hawaii. The tides coming in and out were spectacular to watch, and at high tide the kayakers are quite entertaining! My only disappointment was that we tried to rent kayaks and paddleboards, and there was only one business that rented, and they had extremely limited hours in early... More

Northern Spain is full of contrasts. Having looked at wine regions, historic sites, bustling cities and stunning scenery, it was great to find an interesting beach to relax on. More of a millpond when we visited, the water and sand were clean and it provided a great walk on the steps of the fascinating San Sebastian.

A real beautiful scene awaits: a wide sandy beach, a parallel boardwalk, great views of the surrounding hills and islands, and the adjacent hotels and restaurants. San Sebastian was unknown to us before our visit, but it should be on everyone's must-see list.

Take a long stroll along the 'boardwalk' before heading down onto the sand. The beach can be crowded, but it is truly an experience. The sand is great, and there are tons of great restaurants along the beach. All sorts of hotels rise up before the mountains, but on the beach you feel far away from the urban sprawl, though... More

Classic Spanish Beach! I went here back in 2006 when on a vacation. The beach front is old school and makes you think about old times. I really liked the atmosphere and it was great to have so many fantastic restaurants to eat at just blocks away from the beachfront.

I've been to this lovely city multiple times over the last 10 years and it gets better every time! La Concha is the most fantastic beach I've ever been to. Clean sand, plenty of space even on the busiest of days, a boardwalk at street level and on one the beach level offering shade, restrooms and changing facilities, concessions, and... More

This is fantastic - a great long golden sand beach with protection from the sea - just small waves to contend with. It is as safe as it is beautiful. There is a boardwalk (with a few buskers and street entertainers) all the way around and the water is clean, if a little cold during October. The view is as... More

Located right in town, next to Parte Vieja. Plenty of pinxto bars & restaurants & public transportation takes you right to it. High surf can be a problem during storms.

Such an amazing beach, great place to come after having some amazing food and taking a walk or sitting and taking it all in!
