This is a gorgeous beach. It is deep and wide with fine sand. It is surrounded by gorgeous architecture and sculptures. There are bars and restaurants nearby. There is an island near to the beach. There is a sandy bottom in the water. It is great for couples or families. The only negative is that the beach shrinks considerably when... More

Let me preface this by saying that we're not really "beach people." We don't sit on the sand in bathing suits slathered in oil baking. Not our thing. But we went a few times because it is the prettiest beach I've seen in Europe so far. Shaped like a shell with huge sandy beaches it all looked so inviting. The... More

That shape (la concha) makes this beach so ideal for sunning, for swimming, for walking, for spending time with family, friends - and just to watch people so happy with simple fun as sand, water and sun!

The beaches in San Sebastian have free Toilets and free changing and shower facilities. They also have lovely food. You have a proper glass with wine and proper plates with meals. Also Pizza on a chopping board. No plastic!! There are also Umbrella and 3 chairs for hire for eu15.50 per day. Or chairs eu1 per day

i'd be a little afraid of braving the waves, though it was terrific to watch the surfing schools. Clean beach and places to wash off nearby.

As far as beaches go this one is great. Clean, many amenities including cafes, toilets, kayak rentals, and the views are fantastic. It does get filled up, but doesn't really feel crowded

It's a beautiful beach, perfect for a walk with family friends or a partner. Take time to appreciate the view to the island and enjoy this wonderfully bay.

Good sandy beach manned by lifeguards. Well protected bay with calm water and lit at night when summer activities are on.

Ok, so it felt like half of France was in town, but really crowded when we were there. Maybe next time we will go there in a quieter time of year. Scenic views but I have seen better beaches.

Like Copacabana or Bondi Beach, this is a large beach stretching a mile or so with nice sand and plenty of places to rest. Great people watching with some restaurants nearby. The view out into the bay and of the hills is spectacular!
