The best part of the funfair (which was actually closed when I visited on 2 occasions in September) is getting there on the amazing trip up the mountain on the Funiculare (spelling!) Walk right to the end of La Concha beach and you will come to the station. The trip takes about 10 minutes and then you arrive out and... more

I think the key to this attraction is not having too higher expectation of it, i.e. it is not a traditional carnival/theme park but rather a mini carnival with really facsinating oddly curious rides located in the best possible place to see the beauty of San Sebastian.
