Amazing View!! Fun for all ages!

The best way to experience the beauty is to take the funicular and enjoy the short ride up to the hill. Once you get there the view is absolutely amazing, the weather is wonderful and there is a cafe in which you may relax with a drink. Definitely a must see in san sebastian.

The woman at the booth selling the tickets was rude. After purchasing our tickets (x2) we noticed we only had 1 ticket. We returned to the booth only taking about 5 steps to ask for another ticket as she only gave us one. She then accused us of losing our ticket. We explained we had not lost something we did... More

Traveling up by funicular is good fun. At the top is a rather dated funfair and a lighthouse. Good views back over the beaches and Mount Urgull. The walk up Mount Urgull is far more enjoyable if you can only visit one of the two

We took the Funicular up to the top, it is a pretty quick ride and easy to find if you are coming from the beach. The view from the top is amazing, you can see the whole city and look out into the ocean. Everyone said the view is amazing but the amusement park is old and cheesy. I thought... More

If you want the best view of the beaches in San Sebastian, take a funicular ride up Monte Igueldo. This is particularly impressive in the early evening when you can take in the scenery and enjoy a relaxing drink on the balcony outside the hotel at the top. For the kids, there is a great retro-style fun fair with bumper... More

After enjoying the funicular ride up, we saw some of the most spectacular views in all of San Sebastian. The small amusement park/fun zone at the top provided hours of entertainment for our kids, ages 8-13 years. Attractions include bumper cars, bumper boats, a small roller coaster, and fair style games like shooting BB guns at targets, a ring toss,... More

Fine variation between this city that has been considerably upgraded over the past years and the attraction park -not sure if you can really call it a park- on top of Monte Igueldo that somehow remained stuck in the 60'ies.

The funicular ride up is good and the views are great. The small theme park is a bit dated and very poor access with a push chair.

Took the funicular up to the top. Loved the little tram ride, old fashioned wooden seats etc. The views at the top were amazing! You can see all across the Bay and it looks stunning! We ate at the hotel at the top of the mountain. Food was good. The amusements were a little tacky, but I guess fun for... More

Fabulous - get the funicula tram up then be surprised when you get to the top how much there is to do, especially with children. I wasn't brave enough to ride the 100 year old roller coaster that clings to the edge of the mountain, but did do the log flume!! And AMAZING views of the city.
