The walk is steep at times but we did it when windy and wet and had no trouble. Wear good walking shoes with grip on your soles. Unfortunately, the museum at the top was shut but the view of San Sebastián was great and learning more about the city's history was fascinating. Well worth it.

A good exercise climbing up the mountain to enjoy the views. You could see the views of San Sebastian old town and city, the Concha bay and the Santa Clara island from Mount Urgull. And it's free!

I won't spoil the surprise! This is an absolute must! You enter a time warp the minute you buy your ticket for the tram that takes you up the hill. Make sure you thoroughly explore the top once you get there, after taking in the breathtaking views. One of the highlights of my visit. San Sebastián is incredible!

I enjoyed taking the short boat ride to Monte Urgull, walking around the areas where apples trees grow and the beautiful views of the beaches that traverse San Sebastian

This was a definite favourite walk with spectacular views across San Sebastian old town and beaches. It is a little steep wear flat shoes. Its also free and has an enormous statue on the top and a small museum ( the old fort converted). They also provide translations on a speaker you can carry and listen as you explore. I... More

Amazing views, not an overly difficult walk. Definitely worth a visit. Maybe around 30 minutes to the top.

View of Donostia/San Sebastian & La Concha beach & harbor. We encountered a bunch of laughing/singing schoolkids on a field trip that were dressed as pirates.

Nice walk to that hill and you will be rewarded by spectacular view to San Sebastian. Not many people, nice trees to sit under and enjoy lunch or reading some book. On the top there is a small museum, dedicated to the history of San Sebastian (entrance is free).

We walked up to the top of Monte Urgull and what spectacular views of San Sebastian! There is an interesting museum at the top as well.
