I offer one of the best Pintxo tours as well as my City Sightseeing Tour. To do Pintxos right, you really need someone on the inside, someone that knows where to go on the particular day you are here and can help you get the most out of what is available. I help you explore flavors, but nothing over the top, I am very traditional in my selection of local Pintxos and pair them with local wines. I do show you the most modern bars as well. My tours are designed to give my guests a great head start on this area, from the History and Traditions, to the PROPER way to eat PINTXOS (Tapas). I show you this city with an open point of view and make you feel like a visiting family member or friend, so that after the tour is over you feel more comfortable getting around the city and looking deeper into the areas that you are most interested in. I normally keep my groups small, so it almost feels like a private tour (usually under 8 people). If you would like a private tour please contact us for prices. My tour is best done on the first morning that you are here. « less

Wanted to get a feel of the culture & history of San Sebastian & decided to do a pintxo tour. Definitely wasn't disappointed, our guide Keith was very knowlegdable & very informative when it came to the local cuisine & customs. We had the pleasure of trying local food along with wines & ciders to match. Very well thought out... More

My husband and I had a fabulous day yesterday with Keith. He started by telling us some of the history of San Sebastián, and then took us on a walking tour of the historical city. We then visited some of the markets, and finally we visited five wonderful pintxo bars, learning the correct way to eat this delicious food. All... More

Seven of us went on a city tour today with Keith followed by a wine & pinxtos sampling in old town. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our day was and a pleasure to meet Keith and learn so much about the region. I would not hesitate to book this tour when visiting San Sebastian as we learned so... More

I would highly recommend Keith's combo tour of Basque history and culture combined with the pintxo tour. We did it on our first morning in San Sebastian and it was a great way to get acquainted with the Basque region. Keith points out all the major landmarks, indicates which are worth seeing and spending time visiting, and relates them to... More

San Sebastián is a truly wonderful city and Keith's tour made our visit even more special. He gave us so much information on San Sebastián and the Basque people. The pinxtos tour was also not to be missed. He provided a down home feel while allowing us to explore the deliciousness of the Basque people. Pinxtos are tasty small bites... More

Excellent, relaxed and informative introduction to the history, food and culture of San Sebastián and the Basque region. Keith, our guide, was first rate, not least because he clearly loves the city and region. Having a father-in-law who'd spent a lifetime working in the Basque food industry certainly gives Keith the edge in choosing great places, dishes and drinks for... More

San Sebastian should not be missed if you are in Spain. The tapas are exquisite and so different from regular Spanish fare. There is a little boat that goes to an island off of Sebastian. Its a cheap 5-minute boat ride and when you get there there is a charming little swimming beach with a jumping cliff and cute little... More

For the best postcard view of the city and the bay, take the +100 years old "funicular" (cable car) to the top of Monte Igueldo. Buy a baguette, cheese, chorizo, and a bottle of wine at any of the little grocery stores and go for a picnic at the top of the old fort on Monte Urgull, by the Old... More

Keith's tour was great. He is very knowledgeable about the city, culture, history, pintxos, and the local wines and ciders. You will not be disappointed if you go on this tour, I guarantee!

I made a last minute decision to do the combo tour as my parents had done it a few years earlier and highly recommended it. It was by far one of the best things I did on my 6 week trip in Europe. Keith really knew his history on the area, and the pintxos bars we went to were amazing.... More
