San Sebastians aquarium is Large enough to host an impressive collection of sea creatures. Get your discount through the tourist office. On a rainy day it's nice to be here.

We go regularly with our daughter and love the aquarium here. I´ve been to bigger and better aquariums, hence the rating isn't 5* but this one is really good and the local history is also really interesting. Well worth a visit. In fact it would be worth a visit for the view out the window over the beaches alone!

A good two hours walk among larges aquariums with hundreds of different species, beautifull and unique, as well as a 360 degrees tunnel , it is like beeing in the ocean ! Also a very interesting display of old boats and Shipbuilding technics that goes back hundreds of years. A visit is a must if you are in San Sebastian.

Full disclosure: we REALLY like maritime and naval exhibitions, as well as sealife. For this reason we found it to be great value for money. You would still like it if you are only there for the fish. The first part of the aquarium is concerned with boats and their development. There are lots of detailed models to inspect and... More

I liked visiting this aquarium. It wasn't the largest I've been to or the most modern or advanced but this aquarium has a charm to it that I have never felt before in an aquarium. Plus this aquarium also doubles as a museum of fisheries and history. This place is really cool and I would definitely recommend visiting this aquarium... More

If you are a fan of aquariums, this one is tiny and a little rough around the edges by comparison. What I found most interesting is the surrounding area for walking around, having lunch, a coffee or a drink at a variety of places, and a sea wall that gives one a great view of the water and ships docked... Get past the nautical displays and head towards the nicely laid out and fun aquarium. Great location right on the bay. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellently located on rough shore, the aquarium is not large. The first part is an interesting museum on the local fishing industry. The aquarium itself has one walk thru pool with a good species supply. There are several small wall pools.

Really interesting museum followed by a walk through spectacular series of aquariums large and small. Highlight is walking through the under water tunnel to view sharks, turtles, rays and a huge variety of fish. My favourite was the jellyfish aquarium.
