The aquarium is situated at the end of a marina area and just out into the sea. The experience is pleasurable and leads you through a vast nautical history, marine culture and history and native sea life facts. The biggest surprise and best part is after viewing beautiful and unique creatures through glass habitats you come to a giant aquarium... More

Full disclosure: we REALLY like maritime and naval exhibitions, as well as sealife. For this reason we found it to be great value for money. You would still like it if you are only there for the fish. The first part of the aquarium is concerned with boats and their development. There are lots of detailed models to inspect and... More

I would say that this aquarium and its value depends on if you enjoy the history side of things. For me, I liked looking at the ships/displays but my wife was more focused on the aquarium side and thought that was a little on the smaller side given the price. It should be worth a visit but not mandatory if... More

Having read the reviews, we knew that the aquarium was going to be small and kept it in reserve for a rainy day. It turned out to be a delightful experience. Interesting exhibits on fishing and San Sebastian, then the aquarium itself. The best feature is the tunnel through the sharks, rays and turtle tank, but there's lots more to... More

You start at the second floor, with the history of San Sebastian. Which is quite interesting. The aquarium is very beautiful but has nothing special. I would recommend it on a rainy day.

Great historical introduction to begin with, followed by lovely exhibition of shells, jaws, coral etc. Fish bit ok. Shame no family tickets available - gets expensive ++ for a large family.

This place is situated at one of the greatest spots of San Sebastian. From the aquarium you have a nice view over the Concha bay. Unfortunately you cannot go outside to the terrace to have the best views. Fish tanks are beautiful. We loved tge latge tank and the glass tunnel that runs through it.

I was a little disappointed with this Aquarium. Even thou I was trying not to be influenced by the fact that I had just come from the Lisboa Aquarium, a far superior experience. It will be a while on the tour before you get to see some live fish, going thru an endless maze of bone exhibits and pictures. When... More

The Aquarium is at one end of the boardwalk on La Concha Beach. A short walk, it is not a big or fancy place but has cool views of the beach and closer views of an island in the bay. The best feature of this aquarium is the surround tank that feels like you are in the water with hammerhead... More

This attraction is set at the end of the harbour. It covers three levels and the selection of exhibits is outstanding.
