We did the pinxto tour our first night in San Sebastian and it was the best decision. We had a wonderful guide in Agustin who not only took us to great spots, but also taught us a little history about San Sebastian. We went to 5 pinxto bars and had drinks and a couple of pinxtos at each so we... More

We like to use food as a way to better understand a new place and culture. This tour did not disappoint. Agustin did a very nice job of finding the best of the best Pintxo's. We went to about 5 different places and it is like having a 8 coarse tasting meal with wine pairings. We happened to do the... More

San Sebastian is by some considered the "Food capital of Europe". The town has many restaurants and café serving pinxtos, the local tapas. You can go from bar to bar having one or two tapas with a beer or glass of wine at each place. That is fun for one night, but the variation is not exceptional. It will also... More

We had a great night Pintxo hunting with Augustin. Not only were the pintxo's and wines delicious but we learned a lot about the basque culture along the way.

Fantastic evening with Vicky touring San Sebastian old town for pintxos. This woman knows her stuff, and speaks a perfect and accentfree English, which is important if you are not a native English speaker yourself. She answered our endless stream of questions about pintxos and the San Sebastian foodie scene in general, and is totally willing to share all her... More

We had a wonderful food shopping and cooking experience with Agus. He was very knowledgeable about not only Basque food, but Basque history and culture. I am Basque and I truly felt this was authentic. He and the 2 chefs were very fun and we really did the cooking....with their help, of course! I would do this again! Jo Ann... More

I was looking forward to this tour and it did not disappoint. Vicky was a wonderful host she was very accommodating to my daughter, she's 8yo and we really appreciated that. Lourdes with SSF was amazing!! She brought her local knowledge of the San Sebastian and the food scene to bear with grace, acumen, and adventure. She not only suggested the best Pintxos for each place, but also the wine pairing, while also gave us the historical background. Very informative, interesting, and engaging. Would highly recommend her and SSF for a... More

We had a fantastic evening with our guide, Vicky, sampling the some of the best pintxos San Sebastion has on offer. Vicky's enthusiasm, knowledge and pride in her local cuisine made the evening memorable. She picked the best pintxos that each bar specialised in and paired it with the local cider or wine....yum! It was great to meet people from... More
