It was one of the most fantastic experience ever. Our guide, Agus was amazing and he took us to the market to pick up all the materials for our cooking class and, he also gave us some really good tips of where to go for the best pintxos. Our cooking chef from Bar Zeruko was amazing. He improvised on our... More

We did 3 tours with these guys, the pintxos tour, La Rioja wine day and the cooking class. Here's a breakdown of each: Pintxos - do this on your first night if you can. San Seb pintxos scene can be overwhelming for beginners, however this tour gives you great tips from locals to ensure you know what you're doing during... More

Agus, our friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable guide (who speaks Euskera, Castilian and English with seemingly equal fluency), took us on an unhurried tour of a half-dozen pintxos establishments. He chose house specialties which for the most part were also representative of the local cuisine, and different wines to accompany them. Along the way, we were treated to informative snippets of... We went as a family group of 9 and Eli was our tour! This was by far the most engaged our children (3 teens, 10yr, 9yr) during the entire trip. You really don't need any other tour in San Sebastian then this food tour. You will learn about the history, culture and really live like the locals cooking in their... More

This tasting and sipping walking tour was wonderful. Small, intimate group limited to 10 insures a lovely, friendly, and casual evening, sampling pintxos, wines and hard apple cider. Meandering through the back streets of San Sebastián was memorable. Our tour guide, Augustin, was a real delight.

San Sebastian Food organised our wedding in Spain in July, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Lara and the team worked so hard and made the day run so smoothly, and added some lovely extra touches which made it all the more special. The food was excellent and we left the wine choices up to SSF and... More

As newcomers to the Basque cuisine and to San Sebastian's countless interpretations of it, we would have been lost without Lourdes. Knowledgeable, friendly and warmly hospitable she steered us throughout an enlightening evening of pintxo culture. Welcomed wherever we went she opened our eyes to the gastronomic sophistication of the Old Town. We loved the whole scene. We'll be back... More

I did the pintxo tour with Lourdes yesterday and it was amazing. I've had pintxos in San Sebastián before, but on this trip I really got the most delicious bits and the best wine. Lourdes was a great guide, so enthusiastic and genuine. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Vicky gave us a great tour - we really felt we got an insight into San Sebastian and the food culture there. She also went beyond the call of duty and gave us tips for the rest of the day, desserts and other cities. It was a great time to spend a long holiday lunch. We tried a great mixture... More

On our first visit to San Sebastian in 2011, SSF's Pintxo Hunting tour was the highlight of our trip. For our second visit in July, we decided to take advantage of two of their other offerings: the Spanish wine tasting course in San Sebastian and the day trip to Biarritz and St. Jean de Luc in the French Basque country....
