Interesting trip if you have the time, that is, spare time. Really cheap and in good conditions, and you get to see the Ciudad Jardin neighborhood, which is very interesting.

I went up on a clear, sunny day and the view was stunning. It is ridiculously cheap to get up and the view encompasses the old town, the river and the airport.

The ride is a novel one. The view over the city is spectacular, although the lighting for photos is probably better in the morning, especially in winter. It is certainly great value for money.

A nice little ride to the top of the hill, giving you a good view of the city. Won't set you back much.

It is a must do also. The tracks follow a steep hill. Going up we looked downhill - impressive. Going down we looked downhill also. Like a slow roller coaster. There is a car reserved for bicycles and another for dogs.

From the bottom station until reaching the top of Artxanda, the trip inside the "Funicular" lift is a beautiful travel back in time. The best part is when both cabins pass by each other in the middle of the railway route. The point is that the lifting counterweight is propiciated by the other cabin. That's why you have to wait... Not the easiest to find but worth it. A quick climb above the city and a great view over it. It requires a map and a bit of care to find the way down but it was an interesting walk through non-tourist parts of town.

Within walking distance of the old quarter and less than 1 euro each way, the funicular is a lovely way to spend an hour. It was a bit cloudy when we arrived at the top of the mountain but the views were still spectacular. If you can get into the first car the ride is much more enjoyable, although it's... More

When I arrived it was very foggy so I couldnt see much. But I would imagine it would have been very nice on a good day. If it wasn't that cheap to get to the top I would have been furious since there was nothing at all to do. We went up for 5 minutes and went back down.

It is a wonderful way to get to the peak. The funicular ride only costs .95 € one way and it is worth the ride as the view of the city is spectacular from the top.It takes less than 4 minutes to reach the summit and the view along the journey is stunning. There is a ride to and fro Mount Artxanda...
