By chance we were in town for a production of Blancanieves (Snow White) - our Spanish-speaking kids greatly enjoyed the small cast that delivered a lively production in this grand, nineteenth century theatre. Oviedo is a cultured place so do check what's on before you visit, there might be something to entertain you on a damp evening before heading round... More

Stop by if you have time and check the schedule- there is always a quality performance here. Oviedo is fairly "highbrow" so the Campoamor is a good place to see plays and other events that may be harder to get tickets for in larger cities.

If you are in town and something is on, catch a show at this gorgeous opera house - intimate, welcoming and artistically a very high standard.

We saw a wonderful theatrical comedy in an enchanting theater where the King of Asturias award is presented.

very well know, by the principe asturias awards, but not open to the public, for tours I asked if there was a play in order to get in and told me not that weekend
