Clean and pretty for a stroll

We didnt go in the water as it looked like it was freezing! But the beach is very nice and clean. Crowded during summer months. Very nice boulevard to walk around from end to end.

Beautiful day and beautiful beach but the tide was high and there was little space to settle at the beach.

Beautiful beach with amazing views. It's a pleasure to sunbathing, swimming and walking here. Waves are not very high and water is quite clean

Clean well maintained beach, surf schools and other activities available. The promenade is well used by locals and visitors alike for exercising including cycling (cycle way) running and walking all ages all abilities all day and night. It never got in the way it was festival week when we were their so very busy but nice atmosphere and never had... More

Much of the beach appears to be devoted to surf schools, causing a certain amount of crowding on the remaining sand. However, this is very beautiful beach.

The coasts all around Gijón are waiting for you to explore. Rich land- and seascape beyond imagination. And you'll definitely find many nice beaches of all kind (romantic, dramatic, tender etc.). But if you stay in Gijón and don't want to leave town, San Lorenzo is a nice (although crowded) alternative - where you can relax, swim and sun-bath (beware:... More

A nice beach with a lovely view, the tide comes all the way into the beach which means a) the beach is only useable until early evening and b) there are no beach cafés or restaurants. Very clean however.

Awesome beach walk from one end to other! Simply delightful!! Be sure to go at low tide and enjoy the wide expansive beach!!! You can rent a beach chair, lounge chair or even a traditional colorful cabana (caseta) to change in... Just be careful not to leave vauables unattended! The kiosks along the beach boardwalk have all you need to... More
