Great natural leisure point in the very centre of town. During winter time you'll only see a few groups wandering around or walking their dogs as well as they odd surfer tryong to make the best of the day's tides. In the summer you might struggle to get a spot for ypur towel. It sits right next to a very... More

We've been to Gijon twice and we always enjoy walking along the promenade by this beach and watching the waves, the surfers, the dogs and the footballers. Watching beach footballers waiting until the tide goes out so they can mark out a pitch is surprisingly fun! It's a great place to people watch and you can walk all the way... More

Although the weather is cold and raining, people have enthusiasm for life. People go jogging, surfing and swimming on the weekend. It is a lively place. It is a great pleasure for visiting. It also has a nice city view, clean streets and various areas can walk around. I would love to visit it again.

This is a beautiful wide beach. you will love it, it is close to all the restaurants and the old town. Well worth a walk through the town to find this beach.

Great open sea beach in the same city. Magnificent sand. A lot of waves. Good place for surfers. Very nice and long coastal pronenade.

We walked along the promenade that is in back of this beach. It was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen . It has a curved shape and when the tide is high, the waves come crashing down.

Beautiful beach, but you need to time it correctly as water level is a factor. The water is always cold and takes a bit of getting used to. Beautiful walk along beach.

I love this beach, but you might have to consider water level of the beach and choose right time to swim or sunbathe, since the water level changes everyday. Water is cold even in summer. Also you will see a fun scene of people getting back slowly with their stuff as the water level gets higher. Anyway you will hear... More

Large sandy beach and promanade, lovely for a walk in the sun, sea looks to be shallow near the beach, and there are life guards
