Paradise!!!!!

Incredible place, it is a must to visit if planning to be anywhere near it, even if you have to drive 100km ! One of the most gorgeous places I have ever visited.

It was so cool to learn the history of this place - especially that this was the site where chocolate was first introduced to Europe! And the natural park is gorgeous; the trails take you by waterfalls, through caves, and around lush vegetation.

You must see it when you are visiting Zaragoza. Nice way to the park It's cost 15€ but that a little to much ! Great free parking. You must can walk very good because it is a very heavy way. So, not for people with walking problems.

From Zaragoza, this is quite a long way away. Granted. Read on. If you can spare a whole day, you simply must go to this marvellous place. Exceptionally well preserved Cistercian monastery, with a brace of cracking displays inside. The main attraction has to be the park. This place, carved out of the limestone by the running waters, is crisscrossed... More

We visited the day before Good Friday - the whole place was entirely packed with other people, the only downside - my advice is try and not visit on a public holiday. An easy drive from Zaragoza - just about an hour - we explored the monastery in the morning and the grounds in the afternoon. The lady at the... More

I had read about the Piedro Monastery in a Paul Coelho book and so when we drove through Spain it was on my list. I was not prepared for the extreme richness of color and depth to the area of Spain. I can only describe the entire area as fresh. The cedar and smell of rain on damp trees will... More

I saw this when we were planning our mini road trip around Spain and knew I would love it. Boy o boy I was not disappointed. I can't even begin to explain how blown away I was by everything in the park. It's tucked away in the middle of nowhere but is an absolute gem and must not be missed.... More

We visited it in September, when it was still extremely hot in Aragon. I needed to run away from the city, from the heat, but also from the typical Aragonian brown, sunburnt countryside. It was a perfect choice! The Monasterio itself is an interesting place, even for those who are not normally into religion-related attractions. But the park of the... More

We were staying in Zaragoza, but we had a rental car. We drove here, and although the trip is a little long, it was worth it. Beautiful hands on monestary, and the park is amazing. The waterfalls and landscape entertained our children for hours. I would plan minimum 2 hours here, but could easily spend more.
