Wanted to see some "real" flamenco and booked this because of the reviews. I was not disappointed, it was amazing, and I was completed transported to another world while they danced. Very intense in some parts and I found it quite moving. It says air con but it was extremely hot so bring a fan! An hour long and well... More

I chose to see Flamenco here, after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and boy I wasn't disappointed. The premise was simple and no drinks were included in the price, which was quite nominal as compared to other venues. The dance was authentic and the music very pleasant too. This was one of my highlights of the trip for sure.

The Casa de la Memoria has a small, intimate stage where one can watch a great, traditional flamenco show. I would get there a little early to make sure you have good seats. There are very few bad seats, but there are better ones. The flamenco team was composed of a very powerful female singer, an amazingly talented guitarist, a... More

Our stay compliments of Rick Steves wonderful guide book (does he ever miss?). Two rows which wrap around the performers. No food. No drinks. No amplification. Just you as witness to great artists. Don't pass up the food on the way out. Great food at Taberna Flamenco.

I think I may have been at the same performance as Andreoutdoors, 2/8/15! The male dancer did indeed act as a'drunken uncle'. I sat in the middle on the front row and was quite worried a couple of times that the male dancer was going to fall into my lap! Also, the whole performance only lasted 40 minutes, which included... We had to break up into 2 batches as we had a 3 y/o and kids under 6 were not allowed so we our family members saw both the shows 7.30 and 9 pm, Personally i havnt seen anything like this before. 1 guitarist, a singer, 2 dancers - female & male. Intense, beautiful and so mesmerising. Only things is... More

We managed to get in last minute and got some seats at the back, they said it had air con, it didn't. We got given a paper fan each. I am really pleased we saw it, but I did not enjoy the singing, the guitar playing was lovely, but the singing was quite depressing, the dancing was good, very angry.... More

We went to the 19:30 show, which lasted about an hour. Unlike anything I've seen before, with a guitarist, a vocalist and a male and female dancer. Personally I didn't like the singing too much, but the rest was amazing. Definitely worth coming early to get a good seat! We came about 20 minutes early and all the best seats... More

Advertising as above, I was not sure what that even meant. Throughout the day walking around the beautiful city of sevilla I observed a number flamenco nights advertised. I then thought I should spend a little investigating...and now you don't have. I can't say what the others are like but I can tell you they are centred around restaurants and... More

My wife, our two teenage kids, and I all loved the Casa de la Memoria performance --- the dramatic, heel-clicking/stomping, expression-filled dancing accompanied by a beautiful rhythmic acoustic Spanish guitar. The hour flew by and left us all full of adrenaline and with a great appreciation for flamenco when it finished. We pre-purchased our tickets, got there 40 minutes early,... More
