The auditorium Alvarez Quintero is a cultural space located in the heart of Seville, between two famous sites such as the Cathedral of Seville and the city where you can find all kinds of activities related to culture. It occupies the ground floor of a unique Sevillian house from the late nineteenth century, which has made a major restoration project for holding cultural events, which has been equipped with all the services required by today's society, while retaining the flavor of traditional architecture in Seville. I've seen more flamenco than your average bear I'd imagine, so my review takes this into account. The setting is simple - small square black stage and a red back wall, 2 chairs. About 80 seats on a raked setting. The show lasts about an hour. We saw 1 cantor, 1 bailora and 1 guitarist. The cantor was not my... More

No visit to Sevilla is complete without seeing a flamenco performance. This auditorio is a small venue focused only on the art itself and you will be close to the stage. Exciting and soulful 1 hour performance. We had seen a traditional flamenco performance in Granada and and the style in Sevilla was different.

The show was amazing. Very good acoustics and very traditional and professional. We really enjoy that show. The auditorium is really close to the cathedral, so totally in the center of the town.

Perfect if you are looking for a place to watch traditional Sevillian flamenco. Especially liked the master class at the end.

I visited Auditorio Alvarez Quintero for the second time now and the show was truly unforgettable! This time I was lucky (and early) and got a front row seat so I could feel the performance even more intensively (which left me in tears and a weird feeling in my heart). I must admit - I'm not the biggest fan of... More

Found up a small street from the Cathedral, this small venue features the 3 elements of flamenco - song, guitar, and dance. The room is lovely and intimate ( get there early to sit in the front row!), and the changing cast do a lovely show. My only complaint was that we were told we could take photos only in... More

Went to see a show one night. One singer, one guitarplayer and a dancer - very good. And compared to some of the other places, more on the economic side
