Admission fee not expensive, spent a few hours wandering round and going down the dungeon Well worth a look RIGHT to the end.

An excellent example of a Moorish castle with all the original outer walls intact. A pleasant walkway running parallel with the walls brings you to the first entrance. Here you will find the usual storks posing for tourists from their nests. Inside the walls are many whitewashed buildings, a pleasant square and a small part of the castle resembling architecture... Niebla was once the capital city of Huelva. The Castillo de Niebla is well worth a visit but be prepared for some pretty atrocious torture implements. I'm glad I wasn't around in those horrific times. Just a few Euro entry fee and not for the faint hearted or people with walking difficulties or not a good head for heights. I... More

Beautiful well preserved walled town out of the way from the main highway, it is worth detouring and spend a couple of hours here.

There is nothing special about this place - sleepy village with small town center. There are better places to see.
