We turned up at Cycling Country on spec - it appeared shut, but we could see lights on, so we knocked on the window. The guys agreed to let us hire 2 bikes for the day, but asked for an hour to get them ready. We mentioned about not knowing the area well, and asked for recommendations of where to... More

Fantastic! Loved every minute of it! With only 3 months cycling preparation we managed the 320km distance (hopped in van twice). Accommodation, food and guides Dean, Geoff, Warren & Javier were excellent! Had a ball with our group of 7 and experienced so much of this special area of Spain. Highly recommend this tour!

We participated in Cycling Country's Signature Climbs of the South tour. It was incredibly well planned out and ran in the most professional and courteous way. Jeff and Dean are passionate about cycling and making sure their customers have a great time. They were always prepared and routes were well chosen. I have never been so challenged and so happy... Let's start with our two amazing guides, David and John, who facilitated the trip through Andalucia of our group of 10 cyclists anyway they could with a lot of flexibility and reactivity. They were also major contributors to a fantastic group dynamic that was a great part of the experience (we were fortunate to meet great people as co-riders during... More

My wife and I did four days of splendid cycling on the Quiet Paths self-guided tour. We started in Alhama de Granada for two nights, then rode to a small B&B outside of Montefrio and finished in Granada. We are in good shape but don't cycle much so some of the riding was a challenge, but it was also at... More

A group of 3 of us recently did the 7 day Quiet Paths tour. The roads were indeed very quiet and even when there were cars, drivers in Spain were very kind to us cyclists. The views were amazing, be it of rolling fields, olive groves, amazingly blue lakes, or Granada. Accommodations were great, we especially enjoyed our stay at La... More

I have spent a lifetime cycling including several cross continental cycling tours. I have also worked for the largest bike touring company in the world so I feel like I can really share some insight on bike vacations and bike touring. In a nut shell: If you wants to ride in Spain or Portugal than Cycling Country is your outfit.... More

We recently returned from the Moorish Andalusia bike tour in May 2013. Loved our guides Dean and David! As an added bonus, company owners Maggi & Geoff (with Geoff towing their young daughter in a trailer) joined us for a couple of days. We found that cycle touring really is in their blood! The route was more mountainous than expected,... More

Just back from a great self-guided trip of 5 days through the white villages...Maggie and Geoff of Cycling Country did a great job from start to finish, from initial booking through follow up. The bikes were great, the route notes and maps fine (never got lost!), and their preselected hotels were just great. The recommendations for restaurants and sights along... More

A great 7 days cycling with good company, super hotels and great guides and back up. The terrain and scenery was varied and interesting and the inclusive meals, guided tours and towns on the route were all excellent. All levels catered for and even the rain on some days did not deter the most intrepid of our group! All information... More
