This is the perfect place to get a glimpse of an incredibly unique part of Spain's culture. Whether you agree with the practice/sport/art or not, you should take the time to learn what it's really all about. Visiting the Plaza de Toros is the best way to have a bullfighting experience without the real bullfighting. The visit takes less than... More

Myself and my wife visited Granada for three days whilst in Spain and during that time one of the best value tours was this one of the Bullring in Granada. The guy who took our money for the tour was really helpful and pleasant, he talked to us about the whole process of bullfighting and was very interesting indeed. The... More

This is my husbands review really. I was not bothered about visiting but my husband really wanted to see the bullring. I am glad we went. The staff member who welcomed us was very informative and was happy to talk to us about the bullfights that take place in May. A very interesting audio tour and very impressive arena. Well... More

The Plaza de Toro is very close to the center of Granada, near Avenida Constitucion. I kind of expected a bit better from my first corrida. The imagery of Hemingway/macho-heroismo etc. didn't really keep up to the reality : 1 poor bull against sometimes 10 peoples at the same time in the arena, not to mention the horses... And all... We had mixed feelings about going to a bullfight but it is quintessentially Spanish and is possibly threatened as a spectacle so we went. We were glad we did. The Plaza de Toros was amazing. The locals got right into it with Oles, white handkerchiefs fluttering, and the brass band playing. Kept looking for Hemingway in the crowd. There is... More

The idea of a bullfight may not be to everyone's taste but to many Spanish people it is an intrinsic part of their history and culture. The bullring in Granada is a great place to learn about the history and the modern day reality of this part of Spanish life. The bullring is situated on the edge of the city... More

Plaza de Toros is one of the nicest places I'we seen in Granada, next to Alhambra. You can visit this Toro stadium and after that you can have great meal in the restaurants that are close to this attraction. There are a few great restaurants on the ground floor with domestic food and wines.

I visited Spain for the first time and stayed in Granada. I was excited when I found out that a bullfighting ring was in Granada! Only about a twenty-minute walk from where I was staying. I walked to Plaza de Toros and bought my ticket. I purchased one in the sombra (shade). Spain is hot and I did not want... More

We chose to see the Plaza de Toros to experience something different. After a friendly greeting at the entrance we were given an audio guide, and found ourselves being virtually the only people in the ring. One of the workers there joined us and gave us a very personal tour - he is French and is a matador's assistant on... More

Ok people don't all like the idea of bull fighting but this is worth a visit. We were the only tourists there and were shown round by a very nice and informative Parisian. I hope he and his bosses read this because he was really informative and made the tour very interesting. There were no fights on but the culture... More
