i like the fact the fact you can get picked up in town and taken to the show, then dropped back in town. Even though we missed the bus, they refunded our$5.00 transport fee and still delivered us afterwards.

Friends who had been to the flamenco in the 'caves' said we had to go. There are several places offering the cave flamenco shows in Sacromonte, but Venta El Galle was recommended to us by one of the receptionists at the hotel, who also suggested we arrive 20 minutes before the start time to make sure we got good seats.... After being picked up from our hotel and driving up into the hills we arrived at the restaurant and had a ball. The food was incredible and there were lots of choices. The dancing was amazing and it was a fairly long show so was well worth the money. The dancing and singing were proper old gypsy songs and as... More

This was my first exposure to Flamenco dancing. Although the dancers here do not perform with the castanets I was still impressed with the drive, dexterity and passion of their routines - even if they are geared to the tourist trade. I had read up a bit about Zambra dancing and actually did expect a more provocative dance routine but... More

This was a great show in a charming cave setting. We were scheduled to be picked up by the shuttle and due to a demonstration that blocked streets, we ended up taking a taxi (only about 6 euro). When we arrived at the cave, the woman immediately apologized and refunded our taxi fare which was an impressive and appreciated response.... More

The singers, musicians and dancers were excellent. The you guide who picked us at our hotel, Ignacio, was extremely helpful and answered all of or questions about history and places to go in Granada. Highly recommended!

I booked this tour through my accomodation as I didn't want to look for a flamenco show by myself. Pickup was timely and efficient, we were bused to a location on top of the Albaycin where we started a 25 minutes walk with commentary throught the small streets towards Mirrador de San Nicolas. Shortly after the bus caught back with... More

We went to Granada to see Alhambra, but I also wanted to see a flamenco show having read the book "The Return" - also highly recommended. We booked the meal and show, with minibus transfer from and to the hotel. T^he minibus was superb, the meal was mediocre but fine, with beer and wine thrown in. But the show -... More

We don't tend to like touristy attractions, but were so glad we went to Venta el Gallo. Yes- all tourists, but the seemed interested in showing their culture in the best possible way. Their bus, with a charming guide, picked us up at explained the sites. We ordered the tapas option as we had a late lunch. There was plenty... More
