I grew up not far from Carihuela and it was always a treat to come down to the this beach as the atmosphere is great - buskers, sand sculpters, jewellery laid out on mats on the floor, beautiful people roller blading and international people everywhere you look, including a Dutch bar.. This is an area of small fish restaurants grouped together in quaint little streets, and serving fish landed early in the morning from the small fishing boats which still ply along the coast.
Like the beach? look no further... Playa La Carihuela has everything you need: Chriringuitos from expensive (Playa Miguel) to simple and cheap... A quiet boulevard with lots of bars, restaurants & shops...
Nice beach with good bars and restaurants. Good level access from the promonade that made it very easy for all abilities.
i love the carihuela! the beach is beautiful but personally i don't like all the designated areas that have been set out with sun loungers that block the voew os the beach and sea!
Had been looking forward to visiting this area as so highly recommended by others and I can see why, a must for all travellers to this area. Great restaurants and shops etc and lovely beaches.
Loved this place. lots of Cafes, sit and chill with a cold drink right on the Beach. if you like fish you will love this place, they do other things as well, Burger, Meats etc..

beach is ver nice, cleaned every day. Al lot of shops bars and restaurants. what elso do one need when on holiday?
