Autumn is the best time to visit and strole around, July/ August is rather like a cattle market, to many loud English on their hen/stag outings, would not recommened if you have young kids after 21.00 hrs, Marbella is a lot more dignified. Too many just want to drink and be seen.

We have kept promising ourselves to visit in the ten years that we have been coming to Marbella. No excuses it is free! This visit there was a Beryl Cook exhibition. A mixture of prints, posters and originals. Very good but I think to English humour. Some very interesting other works on show and especially large bronzes. Definitely a must... More

At the time of year we went the streets were a little crowded, but nothing like it gets starting in June. The open street side bars and restaurants were nice. The upscale shops are fine if you like to spend lots of money. But just being in the area was very relaxing to us.

well, it is a Quite an interesting private museum where you can see paintings of Latin American and European artists. Among the exhibits are sculptures by Henry Moore and Salvador Dalí, as well as the work of Joan Miro and Marc Chagall. The museum is open only 4 hours a day (from 10 am to 14 pm) from Tuesday to... Art galleries are not the usual places we visit on holiday BUT this is an exception. With works by famous artists and lesser known South American artists, the displays are intriguing, interesting and inspirational. Free entry so don't miss the opportunity to view these collections. Close to the beach promenade so you can go for a lovely walk and meal... More

This small but wonderful museum is worth the trouble to take a trip even if you are in Marbella only for a day or two. A very good collection of Miro, Picasso, Dali etc. It's not crowded and you can take all the time you need to see the paintings and the small sculptures. Don't miss it. The entrance is... More

The building itself is lovely as well as the location. Not too much, so that one feels one has covered everything. i.e. one is not frustrated after the visit. Wonderful art. Interesting.
