Too modern for my taste it does not blend with the old town look and not a lot to enjoy . Not interesting enough if you are a tourist with a limited time

My favorite place in Marbella, where you can enjoy the sun and fantastic weather. A lot of little bars and cafes and of course one of the most beautiful views over the sea and sandy beaches of Marbella!

The Avenida del Mar is a walkway that has many Dali Sculptures. It is like a small park with benches to sit on and relax. One can study the large sculptures by Salvador Dali. No where else in Spain can one see so many Dali sculptures.

If a place has few real tourist attractions we guess even a nice clean open pedestrianised avenue linking the beach and Avenida Duque de Ahumada to the south with a little park called la Alameda and the Old Town to the north can qualify as one. The avenue’s a nice open space to linger with seats and a number of... More

A nice surprisingly quiet and central pedestrian area with a row of Dali sculptures. I believe they are reproductions but I don't think that detracted from the effect. A good place to stroll and sit. More sculptures can be found at the Ralli Museum on the road to Puerto Banus.

The statues in the area were lovely and you can tell that Marbella are proud of them. The only thing for me is that there isn't enough information about each of the sculptures. A small plaque on each would be ideal. Also being keen on photography I would like to have taken all of there photographs but unfortunately it seems... More

Follow the Avenida and walk just along the beach. You will find some shops, restaurants and the harbor along this avenida. Once you are done walking, sit back and relax and start watching all the people passing by. Note that there are also some restaurants on the beach, make sure to take the stairs to the beach to find them.
