Nice old church

It's a lovely old church, with lots of old statues build with a local air. No entry fee. If you'll visit Marbella, be sure to add this on your checklist.

Visited this beautiful church during our stay in Marbella. In awe at all the beautiful statues & altars inside. Def worth a visit to see. Would have loved to have been there for one of their masses but we missed mass times .

We happened upon this church hiding in Old Town Marbella. It is quite stunning and opulent. Worth a peek inside!

My wife and I were recently in Marbella and went to see the Church of La Encarnacion. This has improved very much because apparently the new parish priest has been restoring the chapels, slowly but surely. The church is now one of the most beautiful churches in Andalucía.

we always enjoy visiting this church located in the center of Marbella. I find it very peaceful to enter the church and take a look around. This is a good place to rest a bit and do some meditation. It is very nice and well maintained, well worth a visit !!

The outside of the church is rather bland but the inside makes up for it. There are not many statues or large stained glass windows there but the high alter is covered with gold and there are other side alter covered with silver. They were tuning the organ when we walked in and the acoustics were amazing. This is a... More

The main altar is covered in gold. I wonder if it's real and does it go back to the time the Conquistatores brought all that gold back from the Americas? One of the side altars is devoted to Our Lady of Carmen. If you are in Marbella around the 16th. July be sure to see the procession of fishing boats... More

The wealth and opulence that is Marbella seems to have carried on into this Church where magnificent gold leaf and silver abound. The detailed ornate high alter is wonderful. Before you leave, look behind you at the organ which we were told is one of the most musically important in Spain. Go to the tourist office for a map of... More

Once in Old Town is absolutely mandatory to visit and a moment of silence in Nostra Senora de la Encarnación. A true temple of God, giver of hope for the future. Between its walls, begin to perceive different space and time, you begin to understand your point that being on this earth ...
