....it's lively any time but particularly at the weekends and especially in the mornings. Views out to sea are stunning, we watched dolphins playing on our way out for breakfast. There is a huge choice of places to eat and drink at every price level, and the people watching is free. You can always tell when the local police are... More

Beautiful, clean & enjoyable whether during the day or at night. Many varied restaurants, shops, linked to good looking little streets like the alameda, brilliant for keeping in shape with the long extent of the paseo

The Paseo Maritimo has more than 50 stores and restaurants, so it is a good place to stroll and get exercise in a very pleasant environment. The walkway is paved nicely and there are many palm trees along it.

What a lovely walk !! Starting from the Salvador Dali Promenade you walk in the direction of Puerto Banus with lots of shops , bars and restaurants along the way. Always busy with tourists and Spanish families taking the air especially at weekends. As you walk further the focus changes to the beach , and tropical vegetation which is lovely... More

The paseo is quite long and there are lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The panoramic views over the sea and the boats are very nice and the beach is near. A must-visit place for any tourist in Marbella!

. The Paseo Maritimo - the seafront promenade in Marbella - was set up in its present form the 80's, when the then Mayor, Jesus Gil, spent millions of (allegedly stolen) money on beautifying Marbella. It was he that set up, for example, the two (now alas only one) large arches over the main road at the west and east... More

When we visit Marbella we always go to the paseo maritime because we like to eat at the Restaurante La Barca, which has very good fish dishes, and very friendly service. We also like to look at many of the stores that are located on this street. There are very good views of the sea and beach also.

Together with a beer or a glass of wine / Cava the restaurants at Paseo Maritimo in Marbela is a nice place to stoop and watch the people walking by. A new and nice restaurant is Cappuchino on the Paseo towards Banus
