Since I am not a connoisseur of contemporary art, I did not know what to expect. The exhibition gave me a glance of contemporary art that actually makes sense. Political ideas that have been exhibited through pieces of art sent criticizing messages of modern educational, societal and political values. The exposition was concise, which is a positive thing: it gives... More

Malaga can get very hot in the summer. The CAC is free and has good air conditioning. So if you are in Malaga in the summer and want to escape the sun for a bit, you could pop in to this small museum for a visit. Be sure to take your iPod, book and/or tablet with you as the collection... More

The art museum isn't more than a quick stop. They have 3-4 large rooms, really only two seperated by walls, with not really taht many paintings. Not much worth coming for except the restaurant attached to it. I cant remember the name, but I have nothing but praise for it, so the best pig cheeks and patatas bravas I ever... More

If you can visit here before mid Septemeber then do! Shepard Fairey's work is displayed here beautifully. thought provoking and immense. Why not his book Obey in the shop for just 50€, then go for lunch like we did in the adjacent restaurant Oleo - superb food.

Nice museum with a very cool exhibition right now (Shepard Fairey). It's quite small, it took about 30-40 minutes to see everything. Worth a visit!

This is the first solo show in Spain devoted to the British artist who specializes in urban art. There are 39 works of art in the exhibition. The best paintings are the very colorful Pop Art works.

We found ourselves wandering out of the old town and went in on impulse. Modern, spacious with some very large impressive pieces of work. After the somewhat overblown Picasso museum, I was pleasantly surprised and it was free too!

I just love the CAC Malaga gallery. I pop in if I have time to get a quick culture fix when I am near the Malaga Centro train station. Just over the bridge, this free-to-enter gallery has works of art from the worlds most important contemporary artists from Anil Kapoor to Andy Warhol. On this visit was some big (in... More

Medium sized museum. Doesn't take too long to go around. Worth a quick visit for some interesting exhibits. Would've been nice to be able to read about what the exhibits were about. Some of the grey paintings on display currently were very interesting. Same about the glass work!
