Saw the word "toro" and, not speaking Spanish, stupidly thought it was the bull fighting museum. It's not! But it is a lovely old house with some very beautiful paintings by a local Malaga artist.

It was located right next to the Cathedral. It was not about bulls or bull fights. It was art work again. But, they had a great movie about the sculpter who created the choir loft woodwork in the Cathedral of Malaga. It was done in the 16th century. Facinating and beautiful work.

The Museo Revello de Toro is off the Calle Cister close to the cathedral. Look for the Berlin Café and you'll find it. Admission is Free to this gem! It is well worth visiting before a visit to the Cathedral because it was once the home of Pedro de Mena (1628 - 1688) the sculptor of many religious images and... More
