Even though there are not a lot of pieces in the permanent collection, the museum harbors a lot of Picasso's late works. Therefore it is definitely of interest to all the Picasso fans and will not be too boring for people not too fond of his art. More

When visiting Malaga, this is a nice museum to visit. Picasso was a diverse artist and you either like his work or you won't!! We've taken many friends here and their opinions vary each time. There is a lovely cafe/bar close by and we enjoy a tapas and drink there too!! More

This museum has a collection of over 200 of Picasso's works, mostly from his earlier periods. As the museum points out in the first part of the visit, he was born in Malaga and last visited when he was just 19 years-old. He never returned. Nevertheless, Malaga and the musuem play up the relationship a bit much. More
