I thought there would be a lot more things to see in his home. Students are free, so that was a plus, but when you go upstairs there is one room that displays some family artifacts and that is basically it for his early past . This is a small, uneventful site, on a street corner, that consumes but a few hundred square feet. The ground floor is the ticket counter & a small museum of 250 square feet. I had trouble finding the Museo Casa Natal de Picasso - it's not the same building as the Fundacion, although on the same Plaza. When I visited not all the floors were open, and my visit coincided with a tour group who rather rudely blocked the narrow first gallery whilst the tour-guide bellowed at them. I have never been a fan of Picasso but loving this part of Spain I felt it necessary to visit the Foundation. The building was the house of his birth and is wonderful.
