This is a small, uneventful site, on a street corner, that consumes but a few hundred square feet. The ground floor is the ticket counter & a small museum of 250 square feet. I had trouble finding the Museo Casa Natal de Picasso - it's not the same building as the Fundacion, although on the same Plaza. When I visited not all the floors were open, and my visit coincided with a tour group who rather rudely blocked the narrow first gallery whilst the tour-guide bellowed at them. I have never been a fan of Picasso but loving this part of Spain I felt it necessary to visit the Foundation. The building was the house of his birth and is wonderful. There's a room styled with furniture and artifacts belonging to the family, even Picasso's baby clothes. For me the ceramics totally converted me. Lillies decorating jugs and... more
