The audio guides were boring to listen to and the background music was a distraction. The costumes did not live up to my expectations. Looked 'tired'. The cars however were displayed well and were impressive. No cafe. Only a vending machine.

Longish walk along the Calle de Ayala and Calle de la Hoz but passing an interesting covered market on the way. Nice historic buildings, large collection of immaculate vintage cars. Also until the end of March 16 there is a period fashion collection next to each car. Worth also visiting the adjacent Russian Art Museum when you finish looking round.... More

Get the number 16 bus from the centre to the MUSEO AUTOMOVILISTICO, the car museum in an elegant old tobacco factory - it drops you right outside. Went to the museum for 3pm and entry for pensionistas is 5.50E each (normally 8E). Inside we are delighted to have the place largely to ourselves. Fantastic unusual cars, everything easy to see... What a superb collection of vintage automobiles and ladies fashion clothes. This has to be one of the best museums to visit with partner, family or friends. The standards of conservation/preservation is as good as it gets and everything is thoughtfully displayed in periods. Fabulous

This museum is housed in a fabulous building. The cars are lovely and the way they are displayed is excellent. The clothes are also well displayed and interesting. A great was to spend a couple of hours, shame there's no coffee shop.

There were far more cars on show than I had imagined; they range from the very earliest models up to some fairly recent ones and they are in immaculate condition. They are generally paired with a costume from the same era which was an interesting way to contextualise them. The explanatory translations into English were a little wild at times... More

Listing it in the Terrible category is only my personal opinion, lots of visitors have described the museum as Excellent so don’t be put off visiting because of my views. Prior to taking a Malaga “trolley bus” tour which included a visit to the museum we were told it is the best car museum in Europe. Having seen inside the... More
