Looking for an authentic, cozy, magnificent authentic flamenco performance in Malaga? Then this is the place. I was so luck to come across this venue. It is tucked away on a small side street, and to be honest, could be marketed a little better. I am a tour operator and have attended over 500 shows throughout Spain, and this was... More

My friend and I were visiting Malaga over Easter weekend and wanted to see a flamenco show. We had bought tickets online (highly suggested), but my confirmation email had got sent to the trash can. I called ahead of time to verify that we still had a spot and the gentleman on the phone was more than understanding and made... More

This is flamenco without the showbiz: genuine, authentic and breathtaking. I have been a quite a few flamenco performances and the artists here were as good as any I have ever seen, but the atmosphere was far better. It felt like we had been invited into their home - it was so intimate, so friendly and open, the kind of... More

A real treat! Tucked away in a side street off Pasillo de Santa Isabel, this was well worth tracking down. Small and dimly lit, with all the tables really near the stage, this intimate atmosphere didn't feel at all touristy. And a superb professional performance from all the artistes, especially the brilliant guitarist and the incredible flamenco dancer who made... More

The theater is very small, however the show was fantastic. The man who welcomed us on arrival was also the guitar player. The entertainment is rounded out with a singer, drummer and one flamenco dancer. Except for the guitar player, the entertainers can vary from visit to visit based on their other entertaining schedules. The guitar player spoke in both... More

Visiting Malaga we wanted to see a Flamenco performance. We booked at Kelipe, but a bit afraid for a commercial and touristic show. It appeared non of that. A small sober room, with a small stage, a bit cold inside, transformed after starting the performance in a space full of passion. Very good music, the singer was great and also... More

I won't discount the artists' discipline because they are excellent. HOWEVER, this show is poorly put together. 1. We booked for Thursday and was told the show had to be cancelled due to sound system, and postponed to Friday. The microphone and speakers were not only unnecessary, they made it sound worse because the venue is intimate and the guitar... More

Hello from Kelipé, we are quite disapointed that you left Kelipé with this impresion. 1) As far as the cancelation of the Thursday performace the agency that works with us have strict control of the reservationes and we only had a party of 3pers and of 2pers that were moved over to Friday evening?, an yes it was due to... Passionate, moving, inspiring. Flamenco in it's raw state. No flashing lights, no gaudy costumes, just pure brilliance.

An amazing flemenco show. The intimate theater is run by the performing family. Everything about the show was breathtaking and passionate: the guitar, percussion, singer, and of course dancers. You can meet the performers after the show in a wonderful, casual atmosphere.

A little sceptical we visited Kelipe to see a 'Flamenco show' (thats what you should do when you are in Spain at least once ) when the show finally started we were blown away by the inspiring way the Flamenco was brought to us. The performers were young, authentic, there was a beautiful exchange between the young performing artists and... More
