on a narrow street, a special place where you can play many musical instruments. Very funny for children especially. A bright museum, not big but interesting, kind of unique.

My son (15) and I both had a great time exploring this lovely museum which I actually give 4,5 points. The collection of instruments from all over the world is really very impressive. The house in itself is also beautiful. Love the interactive rooms where you can try all kinds of interesting instruments. I would have given this museum a... More

The fee is 4 euros and the museum is totally worth it. Even more maybe. There are 2 kinds of rooms, black, where you can see musical instruments from all kinds of eras (and you would be very surprised what people played) with pc screens in columns where you can watch videos of people playing some of the instruments and... This museum is one of the best things in Malaga. It contains a rather wide variety of various musical instruments. There are special rooms where you can try out some of the instruments as well. A nice place to visit with a family.

We all loved this visit. Interactive museum THIS IS THE WAY FORWARD. We all enjoyed playing the instruments & learning about new instruments. The Museum was not crowded, so we did not have to be rushed off the instruments or have to wait to have a go. Video & computers throughout the museum where in English & Spanish. Only downside... This was my son's choice of venue during a day out to Malaga. - he loves music, and plays guitar, and some piano. the museum is open till 8 but closes for Siesta, - our visit was at 4pm. There is a small entrance fee (4 euro) and you register your first name and language on arrival. - you are... More

Really enjoyed watching the videos, reading the information about the instruments, playing a variety of instruments and experimenting with sound production. They even threw in an excavated Roman site for good measure. We found it hidden away in a back street. The staff were extremely helpful and explained the personalised tour brilliantly. We would thoroughly recommend this museum to children... More

This museum has just moved to a new location. It is now at the Palacio Conde de las Navas at Calle Beatas, 15. The palace has been completely renovated. There are more interactive displays in this new museum than in the old location. There is a very good museum store where one can buy inexpensive musical souvenirs.

They just finished moving to a new location, no longer in the underground parking lot where we looked for it the first time. It just opened today! For the 4€ it is well worth it if you like musical instruments, want to play some instruments, have kids who would like to play with a bunch of instruments or like to... More

Housed somewhat bizarrely in an underground car park under the Plaza Marítimo, the museum is well worth the visit containing, as it does, a fine selection of instruments and music.
