The San Agustín Church. This church has being built in the year 1575 by the family Swerts, who wasn’t originally from Spain. You will find the iglesia de san Augustin together with the convent and college in the centre of Malaga. We were not able to visit the inside this because of the different opening hours. I loved this church for its cool and light interior. It didn't lack decoration but it didn't overload the senses like some grander Spanish churches, nor did they stop the light flooding in. Worth a look whilst in Malaga old town.

A lovely old church dating from the 17th century. Wonderful bells at the top of the tower. Easily located not very far from the Alcazaba and Teatro Romano.

This church which belongs to the Augustinian canons is rarely open to the public, other than on holy days, but is well worth a visit, as it is a fine example of a restrained Spanish Catholic church.

The Church of San Agustin is beside the Picasso Museum and dates from the 17th century. The façade is Baroque and the church has three naves. The naves on the sides have five simple altars each.
