Having recently returned from my 9th trip with Ride Andalucía, I cannot speak more highly about what’s on offer: • Beautiful and varied scenery to ride through • A very experienced guide who knows the area, its history and traditions • Comfortable overnight accommodation along the routes (for the horses too!) • Delicious local food • Nice long riding days... What an amazing ride on very sure footed, well schooled horses through the mountains surrounding Gaucin. The natural rock gardens of lavender and rock roses shone like jewels in the sun, countered by shady goat tracks and Phoenician roadways through forests of cork oak and sweet chestnuts. Fabulous picnic in the shade beside the river and delicious tapas with a... More

I can recommend Ride Andalucia as an excellent activity for anyone staying in this area. The riding is fantastic with unbelievable views and the horses are just lovely; sensible but not lazy and all beautiful Andaluz or Andalucian crosses. This is a fantastic way to explore the amazing countryside inland from the coast. We had no idea how dramatic and... More

Karen´s riding holidays are truly unique. There is no better way to experience the diverse beauty of Andalucia. I have been lucky enough to ride many times with Karen, who is a wonderful horsewoman, guide and companion. The andaluz horses are very sure-footed to take one up and over ragged mountains, across rivers, & through the forests. The rides have... More

I rode with Karen and team on the Gallops for Gourmet tour in October. It was just a great holiday and made even more special by the people. Karen has a assembled a great team around her. Surefooted horses riding on routes only accessible by them. Wonderful food cooked by Alberto. I will be back....

This is a holiday for those who want to see the real country-side and local life. We rode along mule trails, up sides of mountains, through cork forests, narrow Moorish villages and down fantastic valleys. Frequent stops for delicious snacks and for lunch a picnic feast or at a local restaurant. Our luggage was miraciously transported between friendly hotels and... More

In response to my other half's skiing holiday, I like to take a sunshine riding holiday early in the year. This is my second time with Karen at Ride Andalucia and to vary things she organised some different routes to last year. We spent the first day in Grazalema National Park, which was a really beautiful outward trek around a... More
