In response to my other half's skiing holiday, I like to take a sunshine riding holiday early in the year. This is my second time with Karen at Ride Andalucia and to vary things she organised some different routes to last year. We spent the first day in Grazalema National Park, which was a really beautiful outward trek around a... More

Just returned from my 3rd fabulous tour with Karen and her wonderful horses. We stayed in lovely local accomodation which was very comfotable and they made us so welcome, great food too. I can't praise the organisation of the tours highly enough. The horses are so fit, well schooled and amazingly sure footed. The scenery was breath taking with views... More

Yet again we have had the most amazing time with Ride Andalucia, thanks Karen! Lovely long canters that seemed to go on forever, the stunning views that you couldn't imagine in your wildest dreams, riding through carpets of chestnuts, relaxing at the end of the day with a cold beer and a swimming pool - and most of all your... Ride Andalucia offers horse riders the chance to ride across beautiful and varied countryside on perfectly behaved horses, while stopping to eat fantastic food and experience the real spain. I can not recommend it enough...you must go. More

Only half an hour away from the famously overdeveloped coastline of Andalucia, you can find yourself in a wilderness of unspoilt beauty; and there is no better way of seeing it than from the back of one of Karen Considine's beautifully schooled PRE horses; close acquaintance with the network of ancient tracks that crisscross the countryside south of Ronda and... Desperately in need of a break from all things office and English, I booked with Karen to go out to Spain for a week's riding. I'd been to this area of Andalucia before (see paragraph at the end about the village of Gaucin) but hadn't been riding because it's too hot in July and August, anyway I heard about Karen... More

I love riding holidays, and have been extremely fortunate over the years to have ridden in Canada, Uruguay, Ecuador and Spain. I first rode with Karen (Owner & Guide, Ride Andalucia) in October 2009 and am now a three times serial offender and am already planning my next trip. Karens experience, professionalism and confidence with horses can only be admired... More

Karen's knowledge of the area, people and customs makes this more than just a ride through lovely scenery - you feel a part of the community in this beautiful part of Andalucia. We mounted our horses in the village square with all the customers from the cafe watching , and a local farmer appearing on his stallion with a foal... More

I took time out during my stay in Gaucin Andalucia to do two days of trecking with Karen. I rode out of Almunia on Apache, one of Karen's horses the like of which I'd never come across before... They were as steady footed on the upward climb through through cork forests as they were on the narrow mountain-top trails and... More
