long beach good for walks, low buildings dont destroy the sights , blue water, small waves , sea is not strong and dont push us , police and red cross moving by car or quad and lots of bars-rest-chiringuitos to have some beers , fried fish , salads, etc

liked:The views at the seaside, the possibillity to walk hours and hours, nice little center with lots of restaurants and bars, city center to be reached in just 10 minutes, nice trips to other cities to be made if wished. unliked: ending of a beautiful stay-out in chiclane

This area has some of the best beaches in Spain for me. There is not a lot to do around and about but that's not what we go for

I loved the seafront rooms and tranquility. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet rooms.the only we didn't like was the fact there was no one to carry your luggage.

Cleaned daily, When the tide is out .. great for little ones on body boards and to paddle. when the tide does return be prepared for 8 to 10ft waves, great for jumping, beach was packed with wave jumpers and board boarders of experience... keep an eye on towels they will get hit with rouge waves!!!

Miles of unspoilt beach, easy parking and cheap, the resturants are all reasonably priced and it's great to watch the sunset with a cocktail or two.

A busy beach very popular with locals, a great place to soak up the sun and people watch ;). Half a day would be enough.

The first day we visited this beach wasn't the best weather conditions! We were experiencing levante (strong winds) unsurprisingly it was very quiet but we still enjoyed a walk along the beach. Our second visit was more enjoyable, although it was busier there was still plenty of space and we didn't have any trouble finding anywhere to park! We all... More

Without a doubt one of the better beaches I have seen. The expanse of sand is huge and seems to stretch for ever. It gets crowded in July but the water is so shallow for so far that even with children there is plenty of space in the water. Not to be missed.

La Barrosa is a local litle village, but with a most superb sandy beach which stretches for miles to have a nice leisurely stroll along and a few little watering hole bars on route too!
