Had a four day stay in the city after hearing so much from other visitors. Have visited about 20 Cities and towns in Spain, but unfortunately this had to be the quietest/uninteresting place so far! Weather was very good if a little chilly, and to be fair it was out of season, but....there's just nothing to see!! Three so called... More

Dear Mr. Allan, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of your visit to Cadiz. Our City Sightseeing bus routes are designed to offer the most complete tour possible, within the possibilities each city allows. Sometimes the narrowness of the streets or, in some cities, the protection of the historic quarter and monuments do not allow us... More

After a few days exploring Cadiz I joined Panchotours' "free walking tour" at 13h outside city hall. (On Saturdays, there is a second tour at 10h) Ramon was our affable and well-versed guide. He first gave us the broad strokes -- the city's history, main points of its compass and layout. Once we were oriented, he added the finer brush... More

We enjoyed walking around Cadiz with our kids, as it is such a beautiful city with lots of plazas, monuments and parks to rest and explore! We had no problems finding a parking space in the underground parking.

We were staying in Seville and went to Estacion Santa Justa for details on how to get to Cadiz. A return journey costs us 25 Euros. The train trip takes about 1 hour 20-30 minutes and is very pleasant. Upon arrival we walked everywhere and managed to see the sights including the remains of the Roman Theatre. The main square... On the day we took this tour, there were 3 Red buses operating. However, a few hours after buying our ticket, the buses became few and far between. We got off the bus at the beach stop, walked around and headed back to catch the bus. We could see a Red bus in the distance and knew we couldn't make that... More

Whilst staying at Chiclana, we went to Cadiz for a day tour. One can follow a number of tours of the city by following coloured lines. We found this very helpful and followed the purple line. The slightly dilapidated state of the building contribute to the experience of this - "the oldest town in Spain". The Flower market was an... More

We came across the castle whilst out walking during one of our cruises. There is no entry fee to get in and the place is very interesting with some fabulous views. Well worth a visit.
