The main shopping area,up from the docks, is just across the busy road. Here you will find loads of shops, bars, cafes, tapas bars, also the Cathedral. We had a walk along the seafront and came upon some beautiful gardens, with orange trees, fountains, and seats made of really old mosaics. Here was nice just to sit in shade a while. Next ,we went to Santa... More

There is very much to see in the center of Cadiz being interesting like the cathedral and the nice narrow streets but also the pretty small squares.do not forget to follow the stipulated walking lines as it takes you to many many beautiful spots so that you will get an extensive and excellent impression

Visited Cadiz in January of this year and the weather was not at its best. However, the town made up for it and we enjoyed a site seeing bus tour. The Cathedral was a little disappointing, though is very attractive from the outside and well positioned in the centre of the town. They do have loose masonery inside and there... More

fascinating city, magnificent buildings, interesting labyrinth of narrow streets that throb at night. Lovely sea promenade. Roman site being explored very interesting. Remnants of town wall amazing. So many buildings, castles, museums and places of interest to visit. Hope to return to do more.

Small coastal town with interesting location on small peninsula. Smell of Atlantic ocean and mild sea breeze provide conditions for city tour. Short and narrow streets and cafes in them, cathedral on central square, sandy beach with boats....these are the images of Cadiz. Join Cadiz with Jerez and make a unique one day trip if you're in Andalusia.

After walking around Cadiz for 2 hours, I thought I'd do this hop on hop off bus tour to see what I'd missed out on. As it turns out, I'd not missed out on anything. The commentary was average as was the view from the bus with many parts of Cadiz appearing run-down. Not worth 17 euros. Did have a... More

The Castillo is an old fortress which looks closed and run down , but that is far from the truth . It does open on a daily basis , please check the opening times , and there is no charge . The fortress looks as if it has not changed for the last two hundred years , but is in... More

I always use a hop on and off bus if only in town for a day, and always try to use the city sightseeing red bus's as they are so reliable and informative. I was so surprised by the beauty and splendour of Cadiz, with its mixture of culture, plazas filled with pavement cafes, gardens, and narrow streets.. Got on... More

It is an interesting and compact city. The streets are full of interest and the cathedral is spectacular in its own way. Lots of good eating choices.

Beautiful Spanish city full of culture and great architecture. This city has everything. Lovely churches and an amazing cathedral. Good shopping and restaurants. It is a stop off for cruise lines so the street can be packed and you can get lost as the streets seem to go on for ever. Spanish people were helpful, warm and welcoming. We loved... More
