I recommend this place to everyone who wishes to witness a fair & inclusive depiction of history. Seldom can we encounter the portrayal of a diverse population & their historical, philosophical & cultural legacies done in a respectable & comprehensive manner. Whoever are behind the Tower Museum, kudos to all of you. The building is small enough to make it... More

This was a highlight of our trip to Cordoba! The small museum tries to make the atmosphere and history of the peacefull neighbourhood of jews, christians and muslims (for this certain time period) and their heritage visible. You can listen to speeches of famous jewish, muslim and christian sholars/ figures of their time and lots of other interesting stuff. Unlike... More

This is a tiny "museum" .. it's not dusty stuff. What it is is a vignette into historical Cordoba ... this was an amazing multi-cultural Christian/Muslim/Jewish City. Could teach us all a lot, It is what you need to see to understand the layers of Cordoba. Oh and yes, the view from the roof is spectacular ! Well well worth... More

This tower has been converted into an interesting history lesson with audio and visual exhibits. I always seem to find audio systems a little lacking in continuity and this was no exception. However, the models of the Alhambra, the Mezquita and day to day life were excellent.

As you are no doubt going to visit the Mezquita Mosque/Cathedral take the extra steps required to see this 14th century tower. Even if you don't go inside the tower, the walk to it alone is worth it. Coming from Mezquita you pass through a 16th century gate, (Puerta del Puente) onto a beautiful Roman Bridge, Calahorra Tower stands at... More

On the roof you can take good pictures of the Mezquita catedral. Inside the tower you can learn the lives of people in Cordoba in the past. There are models of building of the tower and it's so real so that you will take a lot of pictures.

Some may state if you have the time go. I say make the time. You can easily fit this in schedule in the late afternoon when most main sites are closing. Take a nice stroll before dinner along the old impressive roman bridge to the calahorra tower. Go inside for a small fee. Do not expect the museum inside to... More

We enjoyed visiting this place primarily for the great view of Cordoba you get from the rooftop. The audio guide has some limited interest but we found it entertaining for its unintended comedy value - they guy who narrates the english commentary sounds a bit like Brian Sewell and pronounces some words very strangely indeed.

It is worth walking across the bridge for the views from the middle and the other side and this small museum in the tower is worth a visit.

This is a very good museum and it costs only €3.5 which includes an audio guide. The model of the Alhambra in Granada is much better than any I saw there. The model of the mezquita without the cathedral was also cool. And not the least, the view from the top is great.
