Don't miss this. We stumbled upon it while walking through the streets of the city center. This is new, a modern approach and well done. Bravo! It is excellent and a MUST SEE! You'l be saying Ole! And even though we don't condone bullfighting and would never see one, this is a piece of history that is very interesting.

As a gringo aficionado who has visited most every bullfight museum in Spain, this is the one that best tells the story of bullfighting from the bulls to the bullfighters! Cordoba being home to many of the legends in bullfighting including Manolete and El Cordobes, spent a good ten years putting together this museum. As you pass through the galleries... More

I am not someone who understands the attraction of killing animals for sport, but this museum helped me to respect the tradition of bullfighting. The museum was renovated recently and has a couple of movies in the round to explain bullfighting. It only took about 30 min to see it all but my understanding of bullfighting was greatly enhanced.

Beautiful, restored building housing memorabilia of famous Toreros (matadors) of the past and with a very good audiovisual introduction/explanation to the Art of the Bullfight which is available in Spanish & English. Also information on the history, breeding & rearing of fighting bulls. However, as others have said, most of the info is in Spanish although I think we were... More

We got in for free as it was the first month after a lengthy upgrade. The exhibition is first class, with the the two movies/audiovisuals impressing (both available in English). However, with signs only in Spanish on the static exhibits they ignore the international visitors.

This was an interesting museum which gave an insight into why bull fighting became popular especially in this part of Spain. I have no intention of visiting a fight but was interested in how honored the fighters were as they were the celebrities of their time. Video clips helped explain the training needed and I was surprised at how young... More
